There’s a faucet past the bathroom building, near the picnic benches. Water is flowing. Short hose needed.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
It is located to the left of the bathrooms. We took up about 4 parking spots to park near the spigot.
Report Check-Ingood water. we have 20 ft hose but parked beside the spigot . there are TWO spigots . left and right sides on washrooms
Report Check-InWe were able to pull up next to one of the spigots in our 32ft skoolie and fill our tank with a 25 ft hose.
Report Check-InThere are two spigots. I drove by the first one and thankful I didn’t have to turn around after finding the second. I recommend the second spigot anyways as the first one is where most of the cars park to go use the facilities.
Push the lever down and hold down the opening to make the water flow out of the threaded spigot. A 15-20 ft hose is needed.
Report Check-Inwater works, two spigots just on the other side of the sidewalk where the parking is.
Report Check-InStill here and open, worked very well. No Jose at site but my 15 foot one reached
Report Check-InYep still works! Just past bathrooms, pull down on primary sleeve to divert to threaded spigot! ☮️ Fast fill!
Report Check-InFollow the other instructions on here!! It’s still working but Tricky, you do have to pull down on the sleeve of the larger spout to get the water running into the smaller
(Threaded) spout. you do have to keep holding the handle down but the water does continue flowing through your hose flow after you’ve started it.
Filled my water and dumped my trash. It was very busy during the day on Friday.
Report Check-InThese coordinates are for the eastbound rest area, however the exact same facilities also exist at the westbound rest area. Filled up with no problems.
Report Check-InWater is flowing. There are two outlets on it. Pull down on the sleeve of the larger spout to redirect the water to the threaded spout. The sleeve stays put when the water is flowing.
Report Check-InFree water at the rest area. Very fast flow, but it does not come out the hole you think it will. Definitely lots of splashing... But we are thankful for free water in the desert near Quartzsite
Report Check-InRest stop is open, however, three water lines burst the day I arrived. A maintenance person said the bathrooms are closed as well as the water supply to refill. Other than that, it is a smaller rest stop, since it is very close to other exits with food, hotels, and gas stations. Shaded picnic tables, and I saw a sign for a pet exercise area, but didn’t check it out personally.
Report Check-Inwater faucet lever activated for filling containers. Sign says "conserve water" but the ingenious design with oversize splattering outlet causes excessive spillage using standard 1, 3, and 5 gallon containers. One faucet each on the westbound and eastbound sides. Nice covered tables as well.
