Description

Fantastic chilled spot near the beach. Italian owner brings a special mood to the place. Camped with our truck for two nights. Clean toilet and shower (cold water), resto and bar as well as rooms to rent. Cost for truck and two persons cfa3000 per night. Electricity also available. Shady or sunny spots in yard. Stayed two nights but really could spend a month.

Access from local town on deep sandy track so 4x4 required. Local trike motorbikes also make it through.

Well located and maintained campsite suitable for all sizes of rigs. Oasis like atmosphere and attentive staff, perfect for dogs.
Food can be ordered from surrounded restaurants.
WiFi worked well even for YouTube.

Nice tranquil camping place. We stayed 2 months ago for 3 nights and returned for one further night. Cost 5,000CFA for 2 in 4x4 with RTT. Road from village very easy and not deep sand.
Good proper shower (ie not a bucket shower) and flushing toilet.
Not far from the beach.
Food no longer provided but neighbouring place apparently can do food. We opted to buy fresh fish from the fishermen on the beach which was delicious.

Report Check-In

We stayed there 1 night, it was off season and the owners were not there.
There were a lot of locals, all friendly. We did our laundry for 2000 CFA.
We also had dinner, for vegetarians it was a salad with some fries, smoked onions and bread. They said it's 3000 each but in the end they charged us 4000 which is way overpriced for what you get and we couldn't discuss about it. On top of it they didn't have change.
The end of the experience was annoying.

Warm welcome from Senegalese/Swiss couple at relaxed campsite. Clean toilet, strong pressure cold shower, potable water. 5000 CFA per night for two people and truck. Short walk to beach or village. Restaurant on site, we didn't eat there though.

Place is now managed by a Swiss/Senegalese couple. They are very friendly and helpful. Clean, friendly and secure place to stay. Now there is a very good gravelroad for all cars from the center of Diembering to this place. The road from Skirring to Diembering is well asphalted. Clean toilets and cold shower. Restaurant and Bar on the place. Parking place shady under trees with a lot of space for all type of cars. There are also rooms with own toilet and shower to rent. 10 minutes away from a very clean and nice beach. We payed 5000 CFA for two persons in the car camping for the night. Breakfast was 2000 for one person.

Lovely place but awkward to get to. When you get to the village close by, there is a roundabout, of sorts. The satnav says one thing but off the roundabout there is a dirt road which is red, the colour of the dirt. Follow it and you will get there. No 4x4 needed.

Very nice spot , quite and peaceful.
10k CFA for room and 5k for camping.
I’m spending few nights here with my van.
Unfortunately Italian owner has passed away recently, now nice loca people run the campement. Not far from wild beach

Massimo is no longer here. Very pretty camp, one toilet and shower, beers for 1500 (though we were told 1000 when we paid it was 1500). Camping for 2500. Food wasn't great. Quiet at night except for the occasional dog. Quick walk to beach.

Report Check-In

Road update: it's now hard packed dirt all the way from where the pavement ends to the entrance of the camp. Once you get into the camp there is a short stretch of soft sand you'll have to go through.

Great value and vibe. Rooms were clean and even had hot water.

Added bonus: it's far enough from town that you can get a break from the early morning call to prayer.

Report Check-In

Very nice camp to relax. Close to the ocean (3 minutes walking). Friendly owner Massimo who cooked Italian food for us. The road is very sandy. If you don’t find the way ask in the village for massimo. Think you need a 4x4.
WiFi, shower, toilet
