Report Check-InStayed 2 nights for 300 per car. Quiet, wifi working closer to restaurant. If you want to see more balloons above pyramids, best day is Sunday. Saturday 2 balloons, Sunday 30 balloons. Be sure you go to museum in site, it's included in ticket. After covid it's not possible to walk up to pyramids.
Report Check-InWe were here for 10 days, because we had technical problems and we liked it very much. The boss Edgar and his family are super nice and absolutely helpful. There were other overlanders here with children and dogs and they had absolutely no problems. There are no dogs on the site during the day. We were informed that the security service lets the dogs run free from 8 p.m. and that we should put our shoes etc. away, otherwise the dogs may take them to play with. The dogs are friendly.
There are toilets, cold showers, WIFI and a nice restaurant, where camping guests even get 10 % discount. It is only 10 minutes walk to the entrance to the pyramids. We felt very comfortable and safe. Thank you Edgar!
Friendly and helpful people, no problems with the dogs, quiet at night except for events at the pyramids (which take place irregularly), then music until 3:00 in the morning. After staying 2 nights we left our truck there while we were in Mex City with no problems. No Dumping station, no water you want to have in your tank.
Report Check-InWe came but there is a giant pack of dogs acting aggressively, owner refuses to let us allow our dog out, even to pee, has all these aggressive dogs running around us and the trailer- extremely intimidating for the children. I would avoid this place if you have children or dogs or any other choice available.
Report Check-InNice place, well located for visiting the pyramids. The owner is very helpful and arranges everything you ask for, from drinking water delivery to hot air balloon flights. If you are visiting México City, you can safely park your vehicle here for a few days.

For the day it’s a nice place. Perfect to visit the pyramids without paying parking fee. But we don’t understand why no one is writing that there is loud music playing until 4am. Maybe it’s our rooftop tent that’s so thin. We paid for two nights but only stayed one. Would not recommend if you’re in a tent and want to have a good sleep.

nice enough spot, no trees but friendly owner and pretty quiet during the day, but we the only ones camping here (2 nights 300 pesos, Wednesday and Thursday night) the dogs are friendly, maybe too friendly sometimes (4 of them, two of them are quite shy) they bark sometimes at night which wake me up, be careful not to leave any shoes or anything outside at night because the dogs will chew it, they appear to be locked up during the day but not at night. no potable water. electric hook-up. no black water dump point. rustic toilet and shower but work fine, only cold shower. covered table and bench area. restaurant on-site didn't try. very near to pyramids

Report Check-InGreat base to visit the ruins and go on a balloon ride. There is a small area with a roof that van be used to cook or sit (bring your own chairs).
Unfortunately, there is no shade. Also, the toilets and shower are an interesting adventure. The floors feel like they can give out at any time and there are no locks on any of the doors.
Report Check-InGreat little RV camp site that is super close to the Teotihuacan! It is about a 10 min walk from here. This park is right next to an awesome little Mexican restaurant. The park did have some 15 amp outlets only in a few places but you will need an extension cord. The bathrooms were okay with 4 toilets and 2 really cold showers. Great spot to be close to Teotihuacan! It cost $250 pesos a night.
Report Check-InPerfect for visiting the ruins. The price is interesting only if you stay 2 nights (300 pesos the 2 nights), otherwise for 1 night (250 pesos) is too expensive. The toilets and showers are very basic and they turn off the water from 7 pm to 8 am, not very practical!
Report Check-InIs already well described but wanted to add that you can run a complete loop around the perimeter of the ruins on a red brick path the entire way. It's pretty nice and has trees for shade. My watch stopped measuring so I can't tell the distance, guessing around 5 miles.

Ruben is on watch at night and a very friendly guy. Just be aware that there are 5+ dogs at this place that get let out to roam free at night. They tear up anything and everything left outside. My hiking sandals are toast.
My dog liked running around here and the hot air balloons were cool to see in the morning.
Report Check-InWe stayed here 3 nights ! 150 pesos per night. Bathroom, and cold shower. You can refill your water tank and you have wifi at the restaurant. We were 6 van/RV. The morning you can see the hot air ballons between 7h00 and 8h00. And the Wednesday and the Sunday you have a baker who bring directly at the camping : very super good breads ( 75 pesos) and pastries ( 25 pesos). At 6 min by walk to the enter of pyramid ( 90 pesos the entrance) . At door 2 of pyramid , you can take bus to go to the Mexico City ( 47 pesos by person if buy ticket at the central and 60 pesos if you buy ticket directly in the bus). One hour to reach the central north station and after you have to take the line 1 ( 20 minutes - 4 pesos per person) to arrive in the center.

the camp is very quiet and spacious for any kind of vehicles and especially big rigs can easily fit in this place without problems. lots of amenities have been described in the various comments below but I want to emphasize on the kindness of the owners and the staff who work at the restaurant. they are so welcoming and helpful. after several weeks we spent there, we became friends with Edgard the owner who is a wonderful person. we highly recommend this place. besides, the energy of the pyramids contributes to the quietness and wellness of this place!

Report Check-InStayed after visiting the archeological site. Bathrooms were fine, didn’t try the shower. Restaurant was good, good micheladas. Only issue was a group showed up late drunk, camped under the palapa, and sang loudly all night making sleeping difficult, earplugs would have been helpful.
Report Check-InVery good location to the pyramides and to visit Mexico city. There is a guard all night, he is very king. Don’t leave your shoes outside though the dogs will play with them !

You can see hot air ballons on some mornings around 7am so beautiful.
There is very goos wifi at the restaurant and you can stay in the cafe to work.
Bus to Mx city is 52 pesos pp and takes around 1h to 1:20 tothe city. You take it in front of puerta 2 of the pyramides (5min qalk from camping). He goes to Central del Norte (the office to buy the ticket back is all the way to the end on the left). It is every hour or half hour to come back until 10pm. You can stop at Indios Verdes (2 stops before la central) and take the subway to the city center.
A beautiful place, right next to the pyramids. Entrance can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. Back is just as fast. There is a restaurant there and the owners are very friendly. We were there for two nights and paid 150 pesos per night.

Oh…And there are Hot Air Ballons in the Morning. It is really nice to watch, many of them land right behind the Spot, so they are very low. Give them some nice waives 😁

The positive: Very nice and friendly people, green and nice place, more or less quiet during the night (dogs and chicken make most of the noise), restaurant closes early so no noise from there. Cheap, paid 450 pesos for 3 nights. 10 min walk to either Gate 1 or Gate 2 of the archeological zone, and the bus towards the North Central Bus Station in Mexico City leaves at Gate 2, about every 15 minutes.
The not so positive: VERY basic and rustic: not hot water, only cold showers, shower head cannot be regulated. Toilets: bring your own - paper, in this case. No electricity on the sites, only 2 sockets for electricity at the work shed, so you have to park your camper there to charge. Water: non potable, so filter is necessary IF you decide to fill up - the water pressure is so low that it would take hours. NO dump station!!! Internet only works close to the restaurant, average velocity, not on the sites. So we basically paid for a safe parking lot. Didn’t use the restaurant, so we cannot comment on that. But the coffee is good :-)
Great location, it's the perfect spot to enjoy fully Teotihuacan and go away for a few days to Mexico city. The owner is super nice, the restaurant onsite is very practical if you are lazy to cook something. We felt safe.
We highly recommend to wake up early to observe the amazing view with the hot air balloons !

Report Check-InWe spent three nights here, $150 pesos/ per night for our poptop truck camper, and loved it! The employees and owner are all extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help us out with whatever we needed. The restaurant on site is good, you need to be in the restaurant for the Wi-Fi to reach but you don’t have to order something every time, the bathrooms are basic and the showers cold. Be sure to get the artisanal tour with Josh at the shop, we sampled a ton of tequila and he demonstrates the uses of agave as well as the loom and different minerals found in the area.
Report Check-InThis place is ideal to visit the ruins, only a couple of meters to the entrance. Edgar, the host is super friendly and develops the site more and more, it has a good restaurant and all you need as an overlander or camper. No limitations for biggest rigs, quit and safe, very recommend.

Report Check-InGood quiet camping spot to visit Teotihuacan from (Gates 1 and 2 are 5 minutes walk away). Very nice owners and restaurant staff. I left my car there in front of a security camera without issue while I spent a week in Mexico City. You can catch the bus from right outside Gate 2.

As described, $70p person p night. Great location, nice to watch hot air balloons at dawn. Just be VERY careful of the bathroom trailer. The floor is thin, single slats of wood with one nail at each end, when my partner was in the shower cubicle, he stood on one and snapped it, falling through and bruising/scratching all up his arms and legs pretty bad.
When we told the guy who took our money he didn’t do anything, or offer any kind of comp/discount (not surprising though). You’ve been warned...
As per previous descriptions probably one of the better places to visit the pyramids from. We spent 2 nights here in our tent, only ones here, camped under the shelter out of the sun, motorcycles also in the shade, all quite good. It can be loud (trains, dogs, Mexicans partying... the usual) but some earplugs can fix that.
We paid $70 per person per night, not hot water, no WiFi where we camped the bathroom could be upgraded (I fell through the planks while going for a shower!!!)
We got 10% off at the restaurant as campers.

A very large and quiet camping area. It has toilets and showers. There is Wifi in the restaurant but we did not use it. They also do phone recharges if you need it. Electricity in the common area. Edgar the very friendly owner plans to put more places with electricity soon. Ideal place to rest before or after visiting the pyramids.
Report Check-InGreat place to stay! 200 pesos for a night in our van with bathrooms & shower, restaurant with internet, and friendly hosts! The main host is fluent in English and given it is so close to the tourist attraction, it feels very safe.

We also rented two bicycles to ride around the archeological site for 300 pesos. But with better Spanish you will probably be able to get a better price.
We stayed here two nights. Edgar the owner is really friendly. 100 pesos for a small van 200 pesos for the big ones. The place it’s really close to the piramids, between gate 1 and 2. Toilets are open between 8am and 5 pm. Wifi at the restaurant. At night the place is very quiet we slept super good there. Perfect place to visit Teotihuacán. We recommend it.
Report Check-InHad a great stay here for 1 night. I was directed by Edgar too park in the field adjacent to the restaurant and store. I parked in the corner and had a very quiet evening. In the morning the night watchman came over to collect the hundred pesos as I expected, toured the ruins, had lunch, and said my farewells to Edgar. All in all a great stay I recommend this if you're going to visit the ruins. I also used the wifi to do some blog updates. Was the fastest yet on this trip.
Report Check-InWe walked for 5 min to Teotihuacan (restaurant is between Gate 1 and Gate 2). Remember to buy the tickets at the car entrance in Gate 1 (we walked to the main gate and they told us to go back to the car entrance for the tickets).
Edgar (the owner) wasn't here when we arrived. In the afternoon we talked with the guard (very friendly) who texted Edgar and was told that was 200 for the night. We argued that it was 100 pesos usually for people in ioverlander. He told me that 100 were for big groups, but ok, 100 for this time.
Great spot super close to the pyramids. Safe and flat for parking. 100mxp per night and you can use the bathrooms and there is security.
We spent the first day exploring the sun and moon pyramids and the following morning we visited La Ciudadela and the pyramid of La Serpiente Emplumada.
We used the same entry and parking tickets the next day with no issues. They are stamped with a date but I don't think they expire and the people checking them did not care.
We went to park behind the restaurant but a guy told us to go in front. He seemed to be a kind of guard for the restaurant. The owner asked 100$M for the night. Maybe you can stay behind for free I you argue a little.
