Description

A surprise in the desert. Very pretty and manicured place, looks all very new! There are individual bungalows and campsites all around the lake. We didn't stay here but asked the price for camping: R 200 pp. WiFi R20 for 1 hour.

Did choose a chalet for some comfort and also to have a save place for my doggie while visiting Augrabies Falls Reserve. Very well equipped and ok for R650 for one night for a single person. Restaurant is a bonus and the lawns are lush and manicured

Great place. Clean and private ablutions. Very good grass area to camp. Pizza on Wednesday night is a must. Also on Fridays and Saturdays. 200 rand adults and kids. The manager made 100 for my children during checkout.

All true what was previously said that it costs now 200R pp. Lake is great to cool down, have a swim or else. The loud music is a problem while the pizza was a real treat. The ablutions are very nice, one has even a bath tub!

Indeed a very beautiful place, everything as described, Internet costs 20 R per hour or 100 R per 24 h, annoying as its terribly slow...

All as previously described. Grassy spot by lake, great ablutions and lovely staff. Bar with great Friday pizza night! Only negative is there’s not much shade. You camp between the palm trees but they are all quite small and don’t offer much. Also a lot of artificial lighting shining into the tent while you are trying to sleep - but in my experience that’s similar over much of the country unfortunately! R100pppn.

All true what has been said before. only one little downside: there is cattle walking around and its not nice to have there "Left overs" laying in the gras.

Super nice grassfield under palmtries just next to lake. A perfect place to spend a couple of relaxed days! Very nice staff - especially Siegfried & Rezi who are responsible for the guests. Every Wednesday & Friday Pizza night and the bar is stcked up very well! Sundays closed
100 R p.P.

very nice place: grass, shadow with tree, view on the lake, quiet, no noise, clean ablutions, braai.friendly staff. restaurant and bar. wifi in the bar.
100 pppn or 750 the double room.
17 km of augrabies falls.

Very nice place. You can camp anywhere on the perfectly maintained grass between the palms next to the small lake. Poweroutlets every 10 meters. Sort of private ablutions. I was the only camper and the ablutions consist of 4 separate bathrooms in 1 building of which I got assigned 1. So I'm not sure if I would had to share it in the event of more then 4 campers. Very nice and lively bar and restaurant though I didn't try the food. Camping is still 100r pppn which is real good value. Ablutions new and spotless. Even a bathtub! Friendly staff. Place was very windy during the day but the wind settled each night at sundown. The area is well lit at night so no stargazing but it's not unpleasant light.
NOTE! They close on Sundays, even the reception! That means that if you arrive on Sunday, you can probably set up camp and pay the next morning but you won't have access to ablutions. If you arrive on Saturday (like I did) you can stay on Sunday without problems.
Only 17 km from Augrabies NP. I would definitely recommend this place.
