Chevron/Pappy's | Informal Campsite

Stayed here for a week. Truck stop/chevron is for the truckers only. Pappys doest allow parking for over night. There is a street next to pappys leading to a strawberry farm, Nicholson Ave. you can park on each side of the street. No problem staying. Very quiet. There is an rv here full time, local resident. He lives here and has for years. So you can stay as long as you like. Just be respectful. You can dump trash at truck stop and it’s 24/7! 2 minute walk. Restaurant is delicious. Pets welcome. All right types welcome. Truck stop also has a shower. Nice older man lives here as well in a chair behind the restaurant. He’s kinda the local police lol we fed him every meal we had at camp.

Stay here for instead of Cracker Barrel. Lowes, Walmart, Cracker Barrel employees were not sure if overnight parking was allowed. Chevron and Pappys have a large lot with plenty of parking. We pulled in at 8PM and had a good spot. By morning we had more RVs. Still lots of room. Gas Station closes at night, not sure what time, so bathrooms are closed. Plan accordingly 😉 PS gas pumps open 24/7.

Usual truck stop. Showers only for CDL drivers.

Large truck stop. Extra parking next turn after Pappys. Really packed with semis and some sketchy people temporarily living there.. Little noisy but it’ll do for one night.

Truck stop. 24 hours restrooms. Showers. You can park behind Chevron or further back behind Pappy's. Quite noisy but safe.
