Something not right?

Description

It was such a pain to find a nice place to stay in our camper in San Juan that at the end we took a room in the hostel... very dirty room and at night when we wanted to sleep we saw bed bugs and a worm in the bed... so we decided to sleep in our van even if the parking is sloped. The day after we tried to pay and explain them that we didn’t use the room so maybe we can have a price but they didn’t want and it was such a mess because even if its an hotel they didn’t have credit card terminal and we didn’t have cash as we were leaving for costa rica.... so bad experience, this city is not overlander friendly. Unless you sleep at the port, but paying 17,5$ for no services, no thanks !

An awesome and friendly hotel!! Easy parking, no height restrictions. We parked our truck camper here and got a room for a few days. Parking is close to the rooms and flat so it’s easy to grab your things. Rooms are basic but nice - own bathroom, closet, some have air con, some triple rooms and some double rooms. We paid $53 a night on booking.com and $45 a night when we just showed up and booked. This includes a yummy breakfast and coffee with a few options - eggs, nica breakfast, pancakes or yoghurt and fruit. There’s a pool and a couple of outdoor hang out spots, wifi and they’ll let you fill your water tank with the hose. Most importantly - VERY DOG FRIENDLY!! We came with our puppy we rescued from the streets of Mexico and she loved running around the premises and was allowed in our room with us. Staff played with her and never acted like a pest even though she can be a pest. Gate closed at night and a guard all night. Ended up coming back to stay again, we enjoyed it so much. A great break from living in your car! You may be able to park in the lot and sleep in your rig if you have a bathroom, we didn’t ask.

Seems to be a nice place, a bit remote from the town.
Bar, restaurant and chill area with hammocks.

Big gated parking for overlanders with their own rig.

We did not stay there so I cannot tell about the price, but might be worth checking
