It was such a pain to find a nice place to stay in our camper in San Juan that at the end we took a room in the hostel... very dirty room and at night when we wanted to sleep we saw bed bugs and a worm in the bed... so we decided to sleep in our van even if the parking is sloped. The day after we tried to pay and explain them that we didn’t use the room so maybe we can have a price but they didn’t want and it was such a mess because even if its an hotel they didn’t have credit card terminal and we didn’t have cash as we were leaving for costa rica.... so bad experience, this city is not overlander friendly. Unless you sleep at the port, but paying 17,5$ for no services, no thanks !
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

Report Check-InSeems to be a nice place, a bit remote from the town.
Bar, restaurant and chill area with hammocks.
Big gated parking for overlanders with their own rig.
We did not stay there so I cannot tell about the price, but might be worth checking
