This area is definitely closed. The boat ramp is open but there is only enough room to park one car with trailer.

CLOSED. The area now has additional construction keep out signs as well as a new construction “office” on the other side of the public ramp. Lots of trash here and it’s really not level so wouldn’t be a good place to even attempt an overnight stay.

Report Check-In

Spent one night here. Pulled in around 730pm and left at 9am. Unbothered all night and was mostly peaceful until the construction started up in the morning. There is a construction staging area and signs for trespassing so we just parked on the paved area next to the concrete structures.

Report Check-In

Nice quiet spot to spent the night, we arrived after dark so no traffic

Report Check-In

This is in a wildlife management area. Police showed up and said you need a permit just to be here and there's also no overnight camping. He was nice and said just be gone by tomorrow. The levee trail along the highway is a gray zone as it's the boundary. Thought it might be open since the construction from previous comments has cleared up but nope, it's closed.

Staying here tonight. All is well. Only person camping. ATT LTE 2 bars. Awesome sunset. Gonna get down to 42 degrees tonight. Road noise is very faint. I can hardly notice it. Just a Couple air boats in the morning. One left at 3AM, but it’s all part of the experience

Report Check-In

Have stopped here twice for a one night stay. Both times there were a few fishermen at the entrance/canal but back by the marked spot only a couple of boats putting in the early morning hours. Felt safe and super quiet. Of course there’s mosquitoes 😅

Report Check-In

Nice open area & far enough away from 41 that its reasonably quiet. Some mosquitoes though.

Report Check-In

The ramp area is closed off for construction, however overnight parking is still available along the canal parallel to the main road. you can hear the traffic at night but not bad.

Report Check-In

Great location away from the busy road with great view of the Everglades! Definitely buggy once the sun goes down. Some boats using the ramp in the morning & a bunch of random trash scattered around, but otherwise a good spot!

Report Check-In

It is open right now. Nice place. There are two separate camps actually.
Lot of place. Will recommend.

Report Check-In

Construction is blocking the road to the boat ramp

Report Check-In
