The ferry just arrived as we did and we could straight drive in. Only 3/4 filled on this holiday day. Very calm waters. Good bathrooms provided on the boat.

9800clp for 4x4, during the night the ferry runs every 1.5h, in the morning 6:45am and every following 45minutes. You might have to wait for the next ferry if there are many cars/trucks in line.

If you take this ferry: also take the time to try an empanada at Pola's place (the one with less advertisement)! It's well worth it, both because of Pola herself and her empanadas - said to be the best in the country! And take the one with manzana as dessert...
