Camping organised, wooded, clean, quiet with grills, electricity, wifi is slow and only works close to the administration. Get in early in busy season as it fills up fast.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Lovely little campsite. Clean toilets and nice hot showers, sink for washing dishes with hot water. Slide and swings for kids. $5,000 peso per person.
Report Check-InAwesome little camp ground! They had several camper van spot and several tent camping spots. They had a nice outdoor sink to wash dishes and had very nice bathrooms with endless hot water 😀
We paided $5,000 ARS PP
You get what you pay for: at 4000 pesos/person it's cheap as dirt, but in exchange you get a smelly bathroom with broken toilet seats. There is electricity at the sites though, and fairly fast wifi (at the sites). If you're not deterred by substandard sanitation and decide to stay at this campsite, make sure to come early as it's small and fills up even in the shoulder season. Payment cash only (pesos, dollars or reais).
Report Check-InHot showers, internet ok but it doesn’t go to all campings spots, you have light and energy to charge your things where you camp, no kitchen but there are tables to eat.
$5000 a night for two people and a van.
Hot showers and clean bathrooms.
It was full of very friendly cats that liked to get in the van :)
Report Check-Instayed here two nights. we liked how close it was to town, hot showers and heated bathroom. wifi close to bathroom. 5000 for 2 people and van
Report Check-Innice small camping 5 minutes walking to the main street. Good wind protection, friendly staff, wifi is ok, hot water. So a good place to stay in Calafate
Report Check-InPaid 5000 pesos for 2 people plus mini van. Cash pesos only, they didn’t want USD. Good site with clean toilet and shower block. Short walk to Center of town, individual sites have electric power points for charging and a light plus table and bbq . Friendly cats.
Report Check-InIt’s hard to beat the free YPF outside of town, but this place does a good job in competing. 2000pp (~$6) and no extra cost for vehicles. Good shaded spots, hot water showers, clean bathrooms, new BBQ pits, and picnic tables. Hot water at sinks for self laundry. And great location, walkable to town center. WIFI is hit or miss. Try also sell wood and coal here.
Report Check-InVery busy campground with good bathroom facilities and space to hand wash clothes. Unfortunately the wifi is garbage and the owners are rude.
Report Check-InExcelente camping! Banheiro aquecido, duchas excelentes. Pias e tanques com água aquecida. Local arborizado!
Report Check-InExcelente camping.
Report Check-InWorth checking out if on motos. There 3 of use at the heights of busy season and the owners gave us a spot behind his office to park our bikes (under a roof) and we pitched 2 tents in nice grass right next to the bikes. It was perfect, away from the madness of the main camping area and top WIFI. At 2000 pp/pn it was a great option for down town
Report Check-In4000Ars for 2 people and a big rigs per night.
Camping very conveniant because it is very close to the main street.
Wifi only close to sanitary block or administration, but good telephone cover.
Best sanitary block, I have seen in South America, hot water, heated sanitary and clean.
The owner is friendly.
Report Check-InNice and basic camping. Spots have electricity, wifi, bbq, table+benches and lights.
Really hot and good pressure showers.

Good spots under trees or not. Every spot has light, electricity and a barbecue. WiFi better near the bathrooms. City center in walking distance. Weekend can be a bit noisy until 12.00!o’clock.
Highly recommended. Paid 3.000 pp per night with car with a rooftop tent.
Report Check-InNice place close to downtown, walking distance 5min of main road. Lot of shadow for tent's and RVs. Clean bathrooms and very good hot shower. We leave one day to go with our camper to the glacial and the owner reserved our camping lot so when we came back we could stay at the same spot. AR$ 1500 pp.
Report Check-InBig rigs will also fit...and of course there are cabanas as well...
Report Check-InVery clean and warm bathrooms with hot water. They look after the place daily. And you can give the laundry for cleaning. Good prices and friendly staff!
Report Check-InNice camping near the center. Clean bathroom and really hot showers. Incredible but the bathroomis heated in the evening- pure luxus! :-) Electricity and Wifi available. Super nice owners!
Amazing place to overlanders in Calafate. Big space to camp, with great and clean bathrooms, with hot showers, parrilla and electric. The Cabins was simple but is a small house, with kitchen, one or 2 roons (2 to 6 persons), hot shower, etc. Cheap and very great place to stay
Super recommended!

er recommend (after having seen some orhers in town, municipal CP was closed)

Report Check-InVery nice and quiet place, it's 250 pesos ppn, the bathrooms are not super clean, but with hot shower. The owner it's very nice and definitely it's better than other campsites around. I would stay again here.
Report Check-InNice small campground close to the center of town, yet not too noisy. There are trees that offer shade and some wind protection if you find the right spot. Some sites have a lamp post with an electrical outlet. The bathrooms are nice and always kept warm with the heat on. Shower has hot water. WiFi but only works near the office. The owner is really nice and he does a good job of maintaining the grounds clean and tidy. We really enjoyed camping here.
Report Check-InA place with many trees, clean bathrooms and- I have never experienced that before in South America- heating in the bathroom. Friendly owner. 250 per person, car included. Open in winter
Report Check-InGreat little place to stay with camper van or tent. We have a truck camper and no problems entering but really large Motorhomes will not get through the gate (width). Grassy area, no dust in windy conditions. Great hot shower.
Paid 500 pesos for 2 in a truck camper.
BTW the place is called “Cabañas Camping Calafate”. At the entrance it only read “Cabañas “, therefore it was a little difficult to find.
Very friendly people.
tl;dr - Small, but better and cheaper than others in town.
This is a small little camping with trees for shade and some wind protection. It has relatively clean toilets and hot showers. We paid 500ars for a campervan and two people (which is the cheapest of the three campings we visited in El Calafate. The owner is was nice. The ground is pretty leveled. Some toilets are a bit annoying to flush, but nothing serious. The men's room doesn't smell like the other two campings in town.

Report Check-InCamping organized, wooded, clean, quiet with grills, tables and benches, electricity, wifi only works close to the administration. We paid 400 pesos for 3 people and motorhome.
