Latest Check-Ins

Stayed here on a Sunday night, nobody else around. There are dozens of great camping spots along the long beach road headed south from this point to the cliffs, most have stone fire pits, bring some wood! Cliffs block the wind a bit depending where you choose, but not super well. Worth driving the few km of the beach south to find some elephant seals! We saw 2 groups of about 10 at the far south end, plus a lonely penguin hung out with us all evening. So cool!

Report Check-In

No elefantes when we‘ve been here, but still a beautiful beach for camping. Busy during Weekend (but enough of space for everyone) but totally alone during weekdays.
Take some trash with you when leaving and leave the place a little better than before. :)

Its a good gravelroad to get here- no problem with any vehicle. Just be careful at the beach finding a spot- some areas are a little bit more sandy.

Awesome place very quite, we were almost alone

Report Check-In

we came for the seals but ended up staying 3 days because we had the beach basically to ourselves. only a few fishermen over that whole time.

Report Check-In

we spent one night here. No wind in the evenning, we could saw a wonderdul sky. At 2 am, the wind began to start and was very strong, so hard to sleep well.
On the morning we walked until the end of the road in the south to see sea elefants (about 20).

Report Check-In

We stayed one night. Only one other overlander and two argentine families stayed for the night. It was quiet, but we had wind.

Report Check-In

This is beach paradise for locals on the weekend. We enjoyed sharing the beach with 40+ Argentinian campervans. Dog friendly, best to leash them while meeting the elephant seals (because of diseases, and protection).
If you’re up for walking, nice cliff to go up and see ocean, down the right road.

Amazing place! Clear sunrise! Sea lions and elephants sleeping on the beach near us . Several spot you can chose! Some with wind protection!

Report Check-In

We were alone at night and with fishermen in the morning.
Not so dirty, better than others.

No sea lions or elephants.

Report Check-In

good beach a bit of trash around no elefant seals at moment

Report Check-In

Nice beach! Not too much wind when I was there and some trash as usual. I was here on a saturday and there was a few locals that stayed late, but they were quiet in front of campfire, no raggaeton all night. Tons of flies, though, which is annoying when it's hot outside and you want to leave the doors open!

Report Check-In

Nice spot as already described. On the down side garbage and broken pieces of glass bottle all over the place but it’s manageable.

Report Check-In

Beautyful spot to stay fot a while. Not overcrowded. Quiet.

Report Check-In

Great place, a bit windy (no shelter), but the view is great and even with a few overlanders their it doesn‘t get crowded, lots of space, really quiet just next to the elephant seals. No facilities.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

No elephant seals at this moment. But very nice view. Very quiet during the night and no wind. The only thing bad here is the trash. It is everywhere :( some fishermans around. They helped us cause we got stuck in the sand :)

Report Check-In

Beautiful place with amazing view. Lot of sea lions here. You can get close to them.

Report Check-In

Be careful with big heavy rigs, if you stay on or very close to the road above the beach it will be fine. We went a bit down and got stuck. Took us 3 hrs to get on the road again..

Report Check-In

Beautiful place with lots of sea elephants. Many people here this weekend but night was quiet. There is lots of fishing rod (sometimes even with hooks!)left on the beach we cleaned up all we could find. I hope you will do too. There was one female elephant with a fishing hook stuck in her nose... (which luckily did not seem to bother her very much).
I have tried to remove it twice (I am a vet), but it was too stuck and obviously she did not appreciate my attempts.. very frustrating. I will warn the rangers at the punta Tombo, hope they will be able to arrange help..

Very nice beach with lots of possibilitys to stay. Good to see the sea elephants (in season) so close !!

Great place to watch the elephant seals from the caravan! Walk north along the beach and there’s currently another larger group. Also worth heading south along the track or beach and then along the beach, lots of birds and more seals.

Report Check-In

Beautiful beach indeed. Camped at the southern point, kind protected. It was really windy at night, but no problems. No elephants at this time.

Report Check-In

Gorgeous beach and easy drive. Could have been perfect except for the mountains of trash everywhere. These people are pigs. Also no sea elephants. probably they follow the whale season.

Report Check-In

A very good place to see the sea elephants very close von eye to eye. It's worth to visit this 3 km long remote beach. We stayed 3 night's allone,it's really nice here :-))

Report Check-In

Very nice beach. There are groups of sea-elephants relaxing at the beach. You can get there without 4x4. You have to drive 100km on RP1 (unpaved). The street is not recommended if it is raining.
