Latest Check-Ins

Normally it closes at 5pm, we arrived at 5:15 pm and the guard agreed to let us in. Nevertheless he tried to make us pay 10 sol per adult, finally he accepted that we pay 5 sol per adult, for the children it is free, but he did not give us a ticket. From there count a good hour to arrive at the landslide. The track is very stony and narrow, in my opinion a high clearance vehicle is absolutely necessary, but in the end we see small cars getting there ...

very nice lagoon, it is possible to do kayaking for 20 soles pp.

Report Check-In

We arrived at 5:30 at the gate. The guy was still here to open it forthe people going down. He told us it was ok to enter if we stayed in for the night. We paid 5sol pp as he only made us pay for next day.
The road after the gate if rough. Not suitable at all for big rig and it is single lane. So when you cross people going down it is a challenge. It took us around 1hour to reach the top from the gate. At 5:30 pm we crossed about 5 cars going down. We waited next day at 1:15pm to go down so no one was going up.

Report Check-In

Wanted to charge us 10pp per day, but then he couldn’t figure out how much that was. We negotiated and paid 50 for two people for 3 days. This is also the point the roads get much rougher, if you have no issues on the first hairpins the rest will be fine, it’s all the same condition from here down.

Report Check-In

We arrived around 14:30 and said we wanted to sleep near the laguna. Therefore he charged us for two days (10soles pp).

7 cars were coming down when we went up, but that was not a problem.
