Description

The bridge is closed so you need to take this entrance to access the camping near the hot spring. Don’t listen to google maps, for me it kept trying to route me over the closed bridge. There’s signs that speak to leaving ones campsite clean, so I take that to mean overnight camping is allowed.

No phone service, so you can enjoy being disconnected at this camp spot.

entrance in was sketchy for low clearance vehicles (particularly busses) but still passable. I had no issues with high clearance 2wd Econoline but if it's muddy/wet be wary how deep the ruts go.

Incredible spot, beautiful and few hundreds of meters away from a cool hot spring spot (went in mid-October and the water was great, not too hot, just a great experience)
We didn’t go too too far deep with our GMC savana 2006 3500, but probably would’ve been fine.
Fire pits, lots of rabbits.
One other car further down the road and 2 rednecks who seemed to live there (hunting season), didn’t bother us, simple hello from far.
ENJOY!

great place. level camping before you get close to the springs. high clearance vehicle is best.

Great hot springs. Take either a higher clearance vehicle or go part way in and park then walk to the springs. Some level spots, some trees, some shade. Beautiful sunset. The west side entrance offers some level spots but there are few. Also you don't have hot spring access from the west entrance. No bathrooms or other amenities. You'll love the springs.

I parked at the entrance because the trail looked icy and I only have 2wd. No one bothered me over night and the next day I walked about a half mile to get to the hot springs which were incredibly enjoyable

Mid November , the road was wet with massive pot holes and water . Made it with sprinter van with 4w dr.. I was able to cross the river bed full of rocks to the hot spring and park next to it . The river had less less then 1/2 foot water . This river is not always passible ( locals mentioned ) - Good thing you will be able to camp anywhere near the river and walk to hot spring

Unfortunately there was A LOT ALOT of toilet paper everywhere in the brush ! Not sure why people can’t bring doggie poop bags for their own toliet paper . It’s was a horrible site .

The water has two tubs , large one which is great for sitting for a few hours , the smaller one super hot only lasted a few minutes in there

Use this road to get to the hot springs! Folks mention the bad road, but we made it just fine in our Sprinter (the road was dry, could see how it would be bad during rain season). The baths are so special, an absolute must see!! Plenty of room to camp and park close to the springs or on the road there.

Road in is pretty rough but passable, springs are beautiful, out on the island in the middle of the river but it’s an easy walk across (you could drive if you’ve got the clearance, Water was less than 2’ deep when I visited). Camp sites were pretty trashy, but it was quiet and the springs were great!

Correction. To access old road coming from the west you also need to cross new bridge then turn into off road area same as coming from the east.

Can get to it heading east turn off just before new bridge, from west turn into large parking area then follow track alongside river. Bit of road noise from above. Room for a couple of rigs alongside old road. Nice spot.
