Description
New hostel, opened a few days before we arrived. The owners are really nice, and have built a beautiful place if you want to stay few nights in San Pedro. They provide private rooms and a 7 beds dorm, price is about 20BD$ for the dorm.
If you stay in the dorm, they even provide you a towel and a beach towel, eventually some snorkeling equipment, soap in the shower (warm, if needed), and a locker with a key for you. You can borrow bikes as well. Coffee and tea in the morning. hammocks and couches.
One socket per bed, one fan and one light per bed. Everything is really clean and new. High standard in this hostel, and for reasonable price!! Definitely recommend it.

This hostel has now a new owner and a new name. We went there to check it out. They let us stay inofficially since they are still waiting for their new license. We got a king size bed with private bathroom (without AC) for 50$US per night. But he said when they open officially it will be 75$US (probably with AC then). Room had a small kitchenette with refrigerator, sink and coffeemaker (no stove). Also a tank of filtered water in the room.
The wifi is very unstable, it was most of the time slow and we constantly lost the connection. They have an on-site restaurant as well. Food is cheap but it takes a long time until you get your order and half of the food was already cold. Quality of the food was OKish, I think you get better food if you just eat from the street vendors or the small local restaurants.
This review is for the private rooms you can rent on Airbnb. $40 US dollars/day for a king bed, big shower and small, equipped kitchen. All is clean and nice. And, they allow dogs! Our friend stayed in the dorm and agree with the previous post on the dorms. Only thing, we stayed in room 1, and the H2S smell from the water treatment plant across the street was pretty consistent. Our friend who stayed in the dorm did not smell it. Also, it is a little loud here. If you want to go to bed early, or sleep late, bring ear plugs.
