Something not right?

Description

After 30 min looking for a place to stay close to the river, we found this really quiet and nice spot. You just need to go to the end of the road and cross the railroad. that part can be tricky because of the rocks but we did it with our kombi. Plenty of space, flat, clean (more or less) with a really nice view over the mountains and the rio. ok for big rigs (i think!).

Good place to spend a night or even vary. Quiet location accessible to almost any vehicle.

Good place for a night, 3 small piles of trash, but if you look away it's quite clean. Just don't swim in the river - we are pretty sure that the mud on the ground is sewers from Urubamba, when we went in to wash, it smelled bad. Otherwise beautiful big flat space.

This place is accessible again for cars. Locals sleeping here queiet, beautifull, offers a lot of space and has good wind protection (more down the river on the right). Highly recommended.

This is a cool, peaceful spot, but now NOT for cars or big rigs! They have put bollards at the entrance to the green space. Still great place for motorcycles or bikes. Track down has lots of loose cobbles/gravel. We went over the railroad, down towards the river, then turned left into the trees, over some cobbles to a flat space big enough for our bike and tent. A few fire pits from others, no rubbish. River was full and a bit brown from bad weather so we didn’t swim, but at other times of year could be nice!
