Hwy 101 slightly north of Standish-Hickey State Park on the west side. A row of bushes separate the area somewhat from the highway and it's fairly quiet at night. It's a pull through so you want to make sure you are well away from either entrance so an unsuspecting vehicle doesn't come barreling in and not see you until the last second. No "no overnight" signs.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
As described! Bushes provide protection and seclusion from the highway. Had med-strong signal from ATT.
Report Check-InExactly as described. This place is just a turnout along this busy road, but with very few choices we are going to give it a shot. Fingers crossed! No Verizon signal. Some small areas to walk your dog but mostly overgrown.
Report Check-InGreat place to stay for one night !! We got our table and folding chairs out and have a dinner, no one else came to this spot during the night, got here at 7 pm left around 10 am
Report Check-InArrived after dark, and thought we were more out of sight than we realized in the morning. The hedge will hide a single car but it’s not huge. Not super level, and loud next to the road but we were tired. Moved on to somewhere else to make breakfast.
Report Check-InJust as described. Didn’t stay as it was too early but Checked it out for future reference and it’d work for a small vehicle only. Btw, place across the road has GREAT burgers!
Report Check-InOnly one there. Not to noisy. Parked at 9 pm was gone by 8 am. No issues
