Pull off on the side of the trail just off Movie Road. Several other spots very close by. Brought a 25’ RV in with no trouble. Would not advise for anything bigger. Surrounded by beautiful rocks this was a great spot.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Lowest campsite at the entrance of Alabama Hills. Wouldn't recommend big rigs. Cell service available.
Report Check-InA bit difficult to get leveled but if you have blocks or leveling system, you should be good. Quiet, no drive by, closest person to me was on another hilltop so felt private.
I had no Verizon signal but did get my t-mobile hotspot to 1-2 bars, 3 bars when I plugged in to my small window mounted antenna. Congested times I got 17mbps down and 1 up, less congested time I got 30 down and 3-5 up.
The further up you go, the less signal you get so this is the spot if you’re reliant on signal.
Beautiful view of Whitney!
Report Check-InGreat place in the rocks. Just big enough for our 20' van. 3 bars ATT LTE and 1bar Verizon.
Report Check-InWe camped off one of the dirt roads.
Arrived here around 8pm.
A few trail heads are near by.
