Botswana
Beautiful location overlooking the Pan. There are four camp sites spaced around the Pan. There is a braii and long drop toilet and shower (bring your own water). Heard lions roar at night and a brown hyena wandered through the camp. Best to book in advance as it is popular. But can be booked from Twee Riverein Gate. Beware the tracks here are sometimes deep sand and very corrugated.

The night is shady with an A Frame, overlooks the pan. Facilities very run down however still usable (long drop missing lid etc.). The site was set up with running water at some point but no longer works (no sites in Mabuasehube have water). Water hole is dry and during the dry season you should not expect to see much game in this area of the park. Many previous campers have not respected the area and made poor attempts at removing ash and coal from fire as well as litter.
Report Check-InSites 2 and 3 are next to each other and have great views across the pan. Lion crossing the pan when we arrived. Site 4 is set up on the hill with views of the pan only from the front of the site. Shelter, toilet and shower. Site 1 is set on a cliff overlooking the pan, no shade, no facilities, limited space, could be difficult for big rigs, not recommended. NO WATER AT ANY OF THE SITES. Water hole appears to be permanently dry
