Description

ADMIN NOTE: No overnight camping allowed, please respect the wishes of the locals.

impossible to sleep there. a sign prohibiting parking has been affixed. the night here is now punishable by fines since the beginning of July.

Very nice place to sleep in the super tourist Tadussac on the dunes. We were alone and had a super quiet night. Hard sand, 4x4 beneficial but did not seem to be necessary ...

The town of Tadoussac has increased its efforts to limit sleeping in vehicles as of early July 2018. To be clear, there is no legal places in Tadoussac including the entire dunes area where you can sleep in your vehicle overnight. A special constable "bylaw officer" patrols the town on a scooter enforcing this regulation. The dunes are less patrolled but are clearly signed no camping, no rvs etc.... we have confirmed this with the tourism office and told by the special constable. There are at least two paid private camping places that are available nearby. In a pinch you maybe able to overnight at the ferry terminal across the river, but this is likely not an ideal place and we cannot confirm for sure if its allowed.

Très bel endroit, vue magnifique sur le fleuve, idéal pour petit VR et quelques endroits propices pour tentes. Un peu plus loin sur la même route, un endroit plus accessible aux gros VR

Report Check-In

très bel endroit surplombant le st Laurent. VR de grosse taille no problèm même non 4x4 sur les parties dures du sable.

Report Check-In

Definitely a nice place to camp and look at the St-Laurent.
