Something not right?

Description

$10 to camp and $5 to soak in the hot springs. They have 6 campsites. No hookups. Port-a-potty available. The owners stay on the property in an RV 4-5 days per week. If they aren't around, there's a self-pay station. We met Roy, one of the owners. He's a very nice guy. He told us the history of this place, which is quite extensive. The road getting in from 40 isn't bad, just some washboard in spots. The pools are closed once a month for cleaning, so it's best to call ahead and make sure they'll be open. Pools officially close at dusk, but they let you use them at night if you're camping. No Verizon coverage but good AT&T.

Latest Check-Ins

Looking a little run down. The main pool was drained and the other pools were warm but a little scuzzy.

Report Check-In

A ton of mosquitoes here - just walking to the pool and back to our van we got several bites. It might be because the water is a bit stagnant - there was one other couple here and they told us that there's a new owner who's planning to refurbish it and then start charging for camping again, but currently it's somewhat abandoned. There is a large, stagnant pool which is the mosquito breeding ground, but also a smaller hot pool which we would have swum in if not for the mossies, and a few very small hot pools.
