Very nice, super quiet, legal to sleep with fire-pit, wood, toilet etc. Unfortunately, mega lot of mosquitoes had in July. This is a BC Forest Recreation Site - free use, but limited amenities (outhouses are about it). Great place to fish with kids (it is a stocked lake).

stayed 3 nights. Absolutely amazing spot, very well cared for FREE campsite. Dock and Pontoon, amazing swimming and fishing, mozzies weren't too bad, was relatively quiet considering how lovely this place is. no noise from the road. sunsets were 🙌
Report Check-InLovely campground, better than many expensive ones and for free!! Sites are apart from each other which gives you privacy. Very shady so not much solar power. Nice lake. Cell service.
Report Check-In20 spots or so. This Saturday night it was almost full. Still very quiet at night. Most of the sites are semi private. Not a lot of mosquitos at this time.
Report Check-InSuper place. Quite and very wild. Saw a black bear almost upon arrival.
Note to cyclists! Steep down hill to get to the site, so...
Report Check-In20 sites, 4 by the water . Free. primitive dock, easy access from Hwy. Co-ordinates are at the site. Garbage / recycling bin, pit toilets, fire pits. Very quiet in September 12th, no bugs of note. False Chanterelles , at least we thought so. No bites when we were fishing. 2/3 bar Cell service .
Report Check-InStill beautiful, still free! Great spot, faint highway noise during day but traffic is very light so barely noticeable.
Report Check-InVery pretty lake with good level sites. Muddy in September but no mosquitoes. Disappointing to see that people have thrown garbage into the fire pits and of course the ravens and crows have dragged all over the place. Bear proof bins on ste. bins
Report Check-InPlenty of place for every type of vehicule and tents. Nice to be by the lake, fire pits and pit toilets but yeah... tons of mosquitoes!
Report Check-InGreat little free rec site. Clean, nice fire pits and cement pic nic tables. Small dock on the lake, good for a swim.
Report Check-InThe best free recreation site I've ever been. Clean, quiet and next to a lake
Report Check-InThis place is incredible. There are about 16 spots here, all free with fire pits and picnic tables. They also have toilets and trash. Highly recommend. We decided to stay multiple days so I could also work (there is great service).
Report Check-InNicest free governmental campground ever! About 20 sites. On lovely small lake with beach and boat launch. Very few people here—nice and quiet. Cell service too.
Report Check-InNice quiet and close to a little lake. Perfect! Lot of space. Swimming in lake , duck and plateform.
Report Check-InAs described- Free campsite! It was very quiet for a weekend in June, which was a nice surprise.
Report Check-InExcellent free camping right on a small lake. plenty of well defined sites, most with tables and fire rings.
Report Check-InGreat place! Plenty of room and a nice little lake. BC rec sites are the best. And FREE!
Report Check-InVery nice overnight stay. Will be back for a longer stay next time. Was very quiet & peaceful. Weather wasn't the best, only one other camper at the location.
Report Check-InThis is a BC Forest Recreation Site, so only minimal services (outhouses), but easy access from Hwy 16 and free. There are about 20 campsites.
Report Check-InFrom travel nomads get a tip. Was very nice, super quiet, legal to sleep with fireplace, wood, toilet etc. Unfortunately, mega lot of mosquitoes had in July.
