Kluane Lake 3 - NICE | Wild Camping

Seems to me this cluster is the best spot to stay on Kluane lake as the others we drove past looked to be close to the highway. These have stunning views of mountains on both sides, next to the lake, firepits, lots of spots. Stayed here on the way up and down and loved it. Spotty service, occasionally messages would come through.

Boondocking at its best and a great spot for a Kluane overnight experience. Lots of space, great view, cold wind blowing but no mosquitoes. It's pretty much perfect.

Took first right after Congdon Creek, and parked at end on right. Other spots are available, but this one was level and looks out over Kluane Lake, just what we wanted. 25' RV with low clearance, no issues.

Beautiful! Loved this spot. Saw bear tracks so yes, be aware. Wind kept bugs to almost zero.

Awsome place and enough space. Hidden from the hyw. No noise in the night. Saw beautiful Aurora on my stay :)

Most beautiful place today there are no bugs. A few other travellers parked here but enough room for everyone. Snow dusting on surrounding mountains.

Two pull offs right next to each other. Huge Beach area that I explored extensively. I'd guess you could fit 25 rigs in the whole area. Plenty of space.

reasonable place. not super nice. No bears tonight. The BIG problem are no-see-em bugs that were smart enough and small enough to get through our noseem nets including the fan while it was working. they crawl at the edge of the fan shaft, avoiding the blads then on the metal net and through the holes falling into the van. Would avoid this place only bacause of them ( many in mid August) or keep everything close. no windows, no nets nothing. they are very capable.

this spot is perfect. there is plenty of room for multiple rigs to pull in. some go straight down on the beach. little road noise but the highway wasn't busy. checked spots to left and right both are good, both ok with 2wd.

Incredibly beautiful as described. Amazing view of the lake and mountains beyond and we had an awesome sunset. Very quiet. Surely one of the best spots we've been. We did not see any bears nor sign of them, but you should be aware. No amenities, free.

Beautiful wide open sites right at the lake, some fire rings, some sections with soft sand, we had a very calm night-the nearby Highway doesn’t disturb the Beauty

There are two turns in close proximity. We took the first turn driving north. Nice open flat spot right by the lake.
Not sandy. Lots of space.

the sites are really beautiful but you should be very bear aware. we saw a grizzly sow with 2 cubs in the evening at the beach 50 m away from us. And in the morning a sow with one cub came way too close to our car. So be careful!

Mega beautiful sleeps right on the lake! No rubbish! Close to road but no traffic! It has here equal to 2 sleeps next to a vein and then some 100m further north direction another such!
