Costa Rica
Camping at the entrance to the park, $2 pP. Big rigs are probably a problem as there is not enough space. Parking with our Suzuki Jimny with rooftop tent was fine.
Showers and toilets can be used, water available, very friendly staff, very safe and quiet, sourrounded by nature. Electricity for charging mobiles or other small devices available.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
yes it is cheap camping, but if you want to browse the park (7km) it is 12 us pp. With guide, entry and camping it's 35 us pp. It's expensive to empty caves, see monkeys and a panorama.
Report Check-InThe ranchers allow us to stay on the parking (roof tent on our 4x4) and to use the showers and toilets available for the volunteers of the park. There are also spaces just after the entrance to put only tents if needed and can be cover on case of rains. Some volunteers were very friendly and gave us advices for our trip.
This is nature so the howler monkeys and other animals can wake you up :).
We paid 2$ pp to camp.
BTW, the park is very nice because very quiet since not a lot of tourists are going there whereas a lot of animals can be seen! Recommended!
Sweeet spot! Super cheap for showers and a toilet, but the value comes with all the wildlife! We slept with a family of howler monkeys in the tree overhead after watching them up close for 2 hours.
