Great camping spots all around this area. No fixed spots, free wild camping. Will fit any size camper. Crown land so maximum of 21 days camping.

Such serenity and tranquility. I went to the gravel pit wild camping spot 15 minutes from here first but ugly and boring plus tight near the road. Came here and found a beautiful spot among pines and immediately relaxed. Lots of great sites. I have a small two wheel drive low clearance hybrid but with care and patience went way back. So quiet, so happy. Highly recommend, there is something for everyone here.
Report Check-InGreat spots to stay along this road in crownland. we had the place to ourselves and spent a lovely, quiet night. there's even a wee fire pit (though we didn't enjoy because of the burn ban of course!)
Report Check-InPlusieurs emplacements disponibles! Calme! Belle emplacement pour l’observation d’oiseaux!
Report Check-InAlways come back and camp here, some other campers came and went, but was always peaceful.
Report Check-Inlots of camp spots, with several accessible without needing 4WD. also lots of deer flies, but overall was a beautiful place!
Report Check-InGiant place with many secluded places with fire pits. quiet and some roads/trails to check out with a 4x4.
Report Check-InMany great sites in the area and many fire pits easily accessible for many cars and Rv. They were some trains that passed during the night. You can hear it clearly, but it's far away so it's not disturbing. Also, we didn't see a lot of garbage ! Yeah :)
Very nice!
Report Check-InSuper spot, plusieurs emplacements disponibles! Lacs à côté. Malheureusement les gens laissent plein de déchets .... :(
Report Check-InWe toured around for and hour plus. Stopped at the turn around at end of burwash rd. There is a map from “friends of burwash” and a plaque with a little history. Very cool. Drove in, took several branch roads one to the rail line, one through a couple of water puddles about 18” deep, over to a hill top where a gravel pit was located, made note of a clothes line real about 30ft in the air, but could not locate the prison to do a walk about. Also there is a sign tree with family names all formatted the same way. Anybody know what that is about?
Report Check-InEnglish : My boyfriend and I liked this place. Our dog had plenty of room to play. On the other hand people before us left a lot of waste which was unpleasant, because we picked up their waste. We recommend this place and we will be back on our next trip with friends.
Report Check-InReally cool place to camp. Be aware of the mosquitoes as there were boat loads from the rain today. A few campers around the area but far apart that you feel secluded.
Report Check-Inreally amazing spot with a lot of history. look it up on Google about the community that once lived here. Very little signs that anyone was here but if you look you can find it. be careful walking through the grass. we found a open well that would have been used in the small community. I have uploaded a map that I found on a military site. and yes there is a old prison. but so you know and you should look it into it you are supposed to pay& a waiver. have fun and good luck
Report Check-InGreat area, lots of options for setting yourself up. Site had a firepit and loads of space.
Report Check-InPerfect place. Doesn’t have access to lake. There are a lot of spots to camp
Report Check-InVery nice area, there are many flat places to camp. Road is bumpy (deep potholes) and 4x4 is helpful but not entirely necessary. You are not trespassing just driving through private land and camping on crown land.
Report Check-InMany spots to choose from once past the no tresspass fencing! About 5km gravel road before the spots come up. All big and spacious with beautiful surrounding trees (especially now with fall colours!) and the most serene and peaceful quiet i’ve had compared to so many other spots ive stayed at!!! The abandoned prison is about an hour’s hike past the campsites. Theres a lake if you hike down into it. Tent friendly! Lots of ATV and hunter activity
Report Check-InI have done research on this area. It is most likely haunted. Do some research on this area. Camp out on your own risk lol
Report Check-InQuiet place with plenty of space for tents or RV. There were a few people spending the night. Wild vegetation around, better have a tarp.
Report Check-InGreat spot. We didn’t go all the way into where the co-ords are pinned because we didn’t need to! Lots of great spots here. We are 31’ plus a trailer. Please remember to take out your trash. We had to do a small clean up at the spot we stopped.
Report Check-InYep, lots of space here. Don't be deterred by the "No trespassing" signs after the highway turnoff - you will end up driving past the fenced off area. Also Burwash used to have a prison, now deserted at the end of the road but I didn't go that far to check it out ;)
