A beautiful place in front of the lagune, into Bacalar. We stayed 5 nights on the parking of this Balneario. Safe and quite after 11PM ( due to the restaurants). We negociated 250ps per night (entrance fee including).
Be carefull the entrance gate close at 6PM. You Can enter by the hotel walking at night.
I would recommend !

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

150$m/adult (kids free) to stay in balnéario parking…quite calm and safe but not so nice. Better to stay at buenavista few kilometers at north

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Ok for 1 night or 2. The restaurant/bar on the other side of thé street make some noise and noisy music jusqu’à 1h am.

200 pesos for one night. No service. But in the night we ask to the guys to plug in his electricity and he said ok.

Report Check-In

We went there and were not impressed - but good for a night. If you don't need electricity, you can camp with your motorhome on a grassy field, otherwise it's a busy car park. Restaurant closes at 18.00h. We didn't stay.

Report Check-In

Save and quietly place, Good Wather tô swimming.
100 pesos MX pp

Report Check-In

Stayed here for 2 nights. Awesome place. Can be really busy during the day in the weekends. The owners of the restaurant are really nice. They changed the price to a 100 pesos per night

Report Check-In

Stayed 3 nights in front of the entrance to the balneario and got there 15ams power. Good place, busy at day with big restaurant and friendly staff. A 2hr boat tour 300pesos pp is a must. Save. All night a security walks around with a gun.

Report Check-In

now 100 pp for camping. we went there on January 1st 2021 and they said the price changed from this year. we laughed and thought they were trying to rip us off but it's actually written at the entrance. very busy on the weekend and we decided not to stay here.

Report Check-In

Nice place to stay in Bacalar for the budget minded overlander. Large grassy parking area with shade in front of the restaurant and swimming/ embarcadero area in the beautiful lagoon. Walking distance to town center for more food and drink options and nightlife. Wednesday night was very tranquil. Thursday night I could hear a live band playing that I enjoyed. The music stopped at a reasonable hour but I’m not sure exactly when because I had no trouble sleeping and with the windows open of course. Felt reasonably safe at night and enjoyed the facilities and ambiance during the day. $80 MX camping per day includes entry into restaurant/ swimming/ bathrooms/ showers. Pets welcome in camping area.

Report Check-In

M$80,00 pp. Parking that gives you access to a tourist center with bathroom and shower, no internet and palapas M$40. We arrived at 20th and it was already everything erase, but we received us. We allowed us to sit down the other day the 18th30. Beautiful place, we enjoy in the morning, a small space after the toboggan (more private), because in the afternoon was already super full. It really is impossible to sleep with the volume of music that is 100 meters from the place, I thought how was tired could, but no. Without problems with mosquitoes!

Report Check-In

This place has a large parking lot.
it s good for the day, but the night....very noisy, very loud music until 5 am
80pp/ n

Report Check-In

Nice place. 80 pesos per person. Wifi was not working.
BUT: the music at night was really really loud, from 21 until 5 in the morning. I don't know if this is only in weekends, but we left the next morning because of this.

Report Check-In

Stayed four nights. Pretty chill and fun atmosphere. The water is great, showers are warmish, bathrooms are a bit filthy, use the ones at the restaurant. We were able to camp with both of our dogs, they just can't swim in the water. Loud music from the bars, but if you park closer to the restaurant on site, you won't hear a thing at night. Loved the little town as well. 80pp

Report Check-In

Silent place, price 115per person, fast wifi.

Report Check-In

Nice place to pass the night. Payed 80 pesos per pearson.
You can use bathrooms and shower.
Public goes away at 7PM an you have a good place to sleep.
A little noisy because a stupid bar has loud music across the street.
Best price around.

Report Check-In

Nice balneario, showers and bathrooms are inside. Camping is on the parking lot outside for 80 pesos pp. The disco on the other side of the road played very loud music until 4.30 in the morning. At 7.45 in the morning they woke us again and claimed we had not paid. We showed the bracelets we got for camping but they kept on arguing. We left and went to the Balneario Ejidal Buenavista, an excellent place with camping at the shore of Laguna Bacalar.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Reasonable place to wild camp (no services) for 160 pesos for two people ( 80 pesos each).

Report Check-In

cool spot. even if it cost 80p/pers (while you could park on the main place for free - good spot too we did it later), at least it includes the entrance to the Laguna, showers, restrooms and the wifi ; we stayed in the main palapa using the wifi until 11 pm way after the restaurant closed. the gate closes between 10 and 11 pm.

Report Check-In

Day use only is 15 p/p. Extra fee of 30 p/p for the 2 big slides and 4 persons are needed so that they open them for one hour. Watch out : they are made in mexican style (they are fast and they hurt a bit). Several platforms on the water. Shady areas. Cool spot fir the price !

Report Check-In

Nice place. Asked about staying out past 8 and they didn't lock the gate until later. The restaurant closes at 6:30 (Wednesday). Beautiful swimming spot. Bathrooms are acceptable, didn't try showers.

Report Check-In

This is the right name so it’s easier to find. 80pesos per person per night. Nice grassy lot where you can park anywhere. Closed gate between 11-7. We stayed there on a saturday night and couldn’t sleep because of the loud music of the bar on the other side of the street. Maybe weekdays are better. The water is beautiful for swimming. There’s a restaurant and waterslide for kids. Sorry for the upside down pictures.

Report Check-In

It's not camping Bacalar. It's a balneario : Balneario Magico Bacalar. You can park on its parking lot for 80 pesos /pers / night. Toilets and cold shower. Access to the laguna.
You can fill your water tanks up for free if you ask staff.

Report Check-In

We wanted to stay here for a few days but left. We needed some work done and wifi is slow (new password is [Password removed by Moderator.]).
Water looks great from here but only nice for a day or 2.

Report Check-In

It was a nice stay. There are cold showers and toilets. The gate was closed at 7pm, it was quiet at night. Nice, clean water to swim. They do a lot of work to make the place nicer.

Report Check-In

Ok place for one or two nights. Not very friendly staff. Felt like we annoyed then being around.
80 pesos pp. A bit expensive for what you get (it's 10p pp for shower and entrance during the day, so why 70p pp just to sleep?)

Report Check-In

80pesos for camping per person. No dogs at lake. did not stay.

Report Check-In

Electric can be had after the day use folks leave. Within easy walking distance to Bacalar Centro but they lock the gate at 7pm and it'd be hard to jump the very high fence. A small water slide into the sea was fun. There is a large one too, but it's in major disrepair and closed. Restaurant made good drinks, didn't eat there. Was affordable but would be truly excellent with better gate management since there are security guards anyway.

Report Check-In

we paid 60 pesos per person. lovely place. beautiful lake, nice people, pretty good showers and bathrooms open all night. there were two nice security guards all night and they locked the gate.

Report Check-In
