Report Check-InThe place is very safe, thanks for the police station nearby. You can use the hot shower at the police station. I got eletricity from the public bathroon at the parking lot, but you need to have your own cable extension. The sunrise is fantastic and worth the pain of get up before six in the morning on the freezing temperatura outside.

But pay attention: Serra do Rio do Rastro is only open for crossing all day on weekends, and from 7pm to 7am from Monday to Friday.

Report Check-InGreat place to sleep. It's a safe, quiet and calm place. We used the bathroon from police guys to take hot shower and found power outlet in the toilets. It was really cold during the night.

Report Check-InNice spot, we came back here after we didn’t find anything in the city. We asked the policemen (at the police station by the viewpoint) if we can stay there and they let us use their shower and toilet. The other toilet was open all night too, the restaurant was closed so we didn’t have internet. The view is beautiful. Quite many passers early in the morning.

Report Check-InIt's a beautiful and also safe place. But remember it is Brazil, so you should go to the police station at that place and tell them you will spend the night over there. During the night the electricity was cut and we couldn't use our heating. It was freezing! So during winter time, if your rig has no diesel or gas furnace, consider not to stay because the wind there is awfully strong.
