Dry camping only and the only one along Playa Bonita. There is a waste dump and city water from the spigot. Ask to fill water from the spigot at the building as it's much faster. Hot showers and bags of ice and washer/dryer.

Edgar, the manager, keeps a waiting list for the front row sites that have unobstructed access and views.

Many folks get RV painting done for very attractive rates.

There is music that blares out of the bar across the back side, mostly on Thurs-Sat nights.

price update, is 20usd now. clean place, nice staff, wifi has a very short range, not to many people around so we could pick a spot with a perfect view

Nice RV park directly on the beach in the city of Puerto Peñasco. Edgar, the onsite manager, is a great man and is very fair and direct. $15/day nightly or $12/day paying for a month in advance. Hot showers and restrooms are super. No hookups. Make sure to sign up for list for front row on beach upon arrival. Free WIFI outside office within 20 meters. Safe, secure with onsite security. Edgar makes runs to mailbox at US Border to pickup packages, mail, Amazon deliveries, USPS & UPS weekly for $12 per package. Ask Edgar for address. came here in early December 2022. May stay longer but not June July August due to heat. When the Phoenix area is over 100 to 115 degrees. Puerto Peñasco is 4 hours drive south of Phoenix in the Sonoran Desert.

Report Check-In

Big sandy parking lot right over the beach. Nice sunset. Snow birds, big rigs, big annoying generators! Clean restrooms and showers. Lot of pressure! The train woke me up at 2 AM and I am a hard sleeper! 300 pesos or 15 USD dry camping only.

Report Check-In

They do NOT accept motorcycles nor tents. Only RV’s.

We were sent off, couldn’t understand what the guy actually meant, not in Spanish nor in English. Something with motorcycles not allowed (a sign at the gate says “no motos” but only shows symbols of four-wheel quad bikes) and he was referring to “problems”, but no specifics.

So if you plan to camp with a tent, go somewhere else. We went to Playa de Oro.

Report Check-In

$15, like everyone else said. Showed up Saturday evening before sunset. Pleasantly lively, but not overly crowded. Got a great spot right on the hill overlooking the beach. Seemed like it was going to be great. However, there was a parade or marching band or something like that that played loudly in the vicinity until SIX IN THE MORNING! I was amazed—they went ALL NIGHT! And then after finally sleeping maybe 2-3 hours when that was all done, I woke up to the lady next to to me yelling at her kids, hahaha. It was definitely not my night. Also, nothing to do with this spot in particular, but this area is HOT and HUMID at night in July, and doesn’t cool off much until practically morning. You’ll want some kind of fan or way to cool yourself if coming around this same time of year, which as you might guess, I did not have :) This place really does seem like it can be a great spot—showers, bathrooms, great view, friendly and safe—just pick your nights carefully, and don’t expect too much privacy! I would stay here again if coming with friends because of the lively atmosphere and easily available activities, just probably not on the weekend. If looking for a quiet solo retreat, not your spot.

This is exactly what you’d expect of a dry camp. Unobstructed views of the ocean. Nice hot showers with plenty of pressure. Flushing toilets. WiFi at the front office. Dump and water was included in the price. Edgar (owner) is super helpful. We paid 50 pesos for a load (wash/dry) of laundry. Would definitely stay here again.

Report Check-In

It's $15 per day or $350 per month now. Maybe once covid settles down camping prices will come back down. It's nearly impossible to find a place like this with all the amenities for the price. Will definitely camp here again.

Report Check-In

Dry camping, beachfront, lovely! $15.00 USD/night. Clean showers, (unsure of temp, haven’t taken one, yet!), bathrooms, dump station. Per neighbors - reverse osmosis potable water delivered, if needed. Looked at several other RV parks. Seems to us this fits most iOverlander users - great!

Report Check-In

You probably will not be allowed in if you are black. Attempted to stay and were told that it was closed, while we watched them let new people check in. Stay here if this is the type of people you’d like to support.

Report Check-In

We stayed here 1 night. Payed 200 peso. Very large campsite right on the beach, with dozens of other campers (very touristy). Slow wifi accessible at the office only, flush toilets and showers here too.

The days we visited, oct 14 and 15, there was plenty of space at the beachfront. Spectacular sunsets with view on Baja. Showers and toilet clean. A 5 star in this season, but in high season things could be quite different as we can understand. Pz 200 per night.

We where here in a weekend and there where a few hundred campers (including 179 from the singles RV club). In the evening around 22:00 music started and it stopped around 04:00 in the morning. The next day we left. Price is reasonable at 12 dollar.

Report Check-In

Large, uncrowded (when we were here) campground. If you want to be on the little ridge overlooking the sea, you’re a good walk away from the bathrooms. Great views, nice breeze to help stay cool.

Report Check-In

Perfect place, right at the beach. 12$ a night. We had some work done on our van here.

Report Check-In

Stayed here right before Semana Santa. It was pretty empty, and I had no trouble getting a spot directly overlooking the beach. But the guy at the office said that for easter weekend, they could have 1000 people here. I left before that! (-; Great location on the beach, I loved it.

Report Check-In

It's just like a massive patch of beach but is without any cover or protection from the elements. No doubt a good spot for vehicles but perhaps not so for tent campers (160 peso for my tent). I went elsewhere.
