The other wild camp spot was a little tight and too close to the town run-off(all the water was brown being pumped into the pretty lake). This spot was an easy pull in and flat. Lots of driftwood for a beach fire. Quiet, a few cars and horses.

Very windy, half way the night we switched from rooftent to inside the car. Besides that a nice spot. One local was fishing with his som and left when it was getting dark.
Report Check-InAs said very windy spot, but nice views. The police kicked us out of town around midnight for drinking wine and we had to make our way here. Good for one night.
Mucho viento pero lindo vista. Tuvimos que mudarnos aquí porque la policía nos echaron del pueblo por tomando vino. Funcionó por una noche.
Report Check-InVery windy spot. Some flat spaces but next to the route which is quite busy, lots of traffic for some reason all through the night.
Good spot to be near by town, but much much better the bahía de Jara (20min away from the village)
Tried to sleep here last night and it was too windy. Even in a camper, the sound of the wind rattling through kept us wide awake for hours. Ended up driving back into town in the middle of the night and just pulled up outside the tourist office to try and get some sleep. It is a beautiful spot though, you just need to check the wind forecast for the night before you choose to stay.
Report Check-InSpot in front of the lake visible from the main road but with enough space to park several vans. Windy but good enough to spend the night.
Report Check-InWe spent the afternoon and night here after crossing the border coming from Argentina. Pretty much flat, mostly pebbles. Quiet (no wind in our case), but some rubbish indicating it's used as a drinking spot too. Crystal clear lake water! Had a quick swim - cold! Little to no driftwood for a fire though, and didn't see any pits from previous visitors either.
Report Check-InNothing fancy but it's did the job. Not a lot of good place for tent. Quiet.
