Main parking lot for Hueco wall climbing area. outhouse and fire rings. space for 3-5 vans and some tent spots. too small for big rigs (.6km further down the road is a bigger area).

Nice, quiet spot. Road is a bit bumpy but should be fine for most vehicles. Some fire rings, pit toilet in the woods a bit behind the signboard.
I would argue it should be fine for bigger rigs as long as there aren't too many other people set up here, it's pretty open. But I've never driven one.
Really nice campground, just by the climbing wall. We left a little bit earlier than the plan because the mosquitos were so bad we couldn't stay outside.
Dirt road but we easily made it with our old Ford E-350.
Report Check-Inonly a few kms further up from Spillmacheen, it is a great space to camp for rvs, several cars and tents. outhouse, firepit and large rocks to set stuff on. lots of room and soft ground for tents. quiet road with no traffic at all. river is a few hundred feet below road down steep bank, and running fast so no access. we enjoyed it alot here. no good firewood though, bring some if you want a campfire.
