Not very impressive, gravel lot, tight space, dirty baños. Only good thing is close to malecon and dining. One and done for us 👎🏻

Report Check-In

As described. plenty of room for our TC. was able to run a long cord to an outlet. Toilets were clean and functional. Showers were somewhat uncontrollable but hot. Yep. it's just a dirt lot in the middle of town. Location is why you're here. Otherwise unremarkable.

Report Check-In

Nice place, all previous reviews are correct. Recommend if u come to Loretto. The malecon is on the right and the square is on the left. Perfect site for seeing the town.

Report Check-In

Meh..other than being close to restaurants and the harbor, not much else to give praise. Basically a gravel parking lot used by both RVs and hotel guests. Lots of security lights at night.

Showers and bathrooms are meager. Absolutely no water pressure, no place to hang shower items.

Gate locked at 10 pm, secure and safe .

Report Check-In

No water pressure in shower sometimes. Check before using. Wifi is excellent. Tower next to park.

Report Check-In

This place, and the 2 others we've seen in this area is absolutely depressing: basically an unpaved parking lot with no shade, and extremely dusty. Staying one night and moving on as soon as possible.

Report Check-In

Agree with other comments that it's pretty meh. It's close to center of town. A few long timers have the shady spots under palapas. 2 bathrooms but only the one on the right has a hot shower. I don't think they ever clean the showers as we came here 2 weeks apart and there were the same dead flies on the wall. WiFi works fine near the office. 300p for dry or full hookups.

Report Check-In

Descriptions are pretty spot on. Location a minute walk from plaza is unbeatable. not many spots so arriving late can be risky. Several sites are complete hook-ups and pretty suitable for larger rigs. There's plenty of hot water in the showers but you have to wait for it. With larger rigs suggest approaching from Malecon as the access road by the plaza is tight.

Report Check-In

Great location, good price, plenty of space.
Walkable to town square, waterfront, great restaurants & shops. There are a half dozen or so hotel rooms and spots for 6-8 RVs, 4 or 5 with power/water/sewer hookup, not including the seasonals or year-round sites.
There are two bathrooms available to campers - each with a shower. Bring your own toilet paper. Showers have decent pressure and either pretty hot or I couldn't figure out how to get hot water at all.
I chose this place for the location and would visit again.

Report Check-In

Perfect little park one block off of the Malecon. Water (low pressure) electric and sewer dump. 300 pesos a night. Gave her 1000 for three nights.

Report Check-In

Nice down town location, full hookups available, quiet. Walk to many restaurants and laundry drop offs. Yenni’s laundry is just 5 blocks away.

Report Check-In

Perfect stop in Loreto. 2 min walk from main square, quiet, secure, plenty of space. Showers were hot, internet was fast. 300 pesos per night. We came here when romanitas was full and we’re very glad we did, way less cramped.

Report Check-In

We started at Romanita at the recommendation of other Baja travelers and this site. We got there by noon and it was bumper to bumper double parked in, way overflowing. Like a foot between rigs tops. They were trying to Tetris in a couple more. Seems like it could be a cool vibe with like 15 or so, not 30+. Can’t even imagine the bathroom/shower scene with only one of each for that many people. We opted for El Moro a block away and only two other vans. Nice place. Clean. Friendly staff. Had our own picnic table. Decent internet for uploading pictures. Walk to all the things. Gate locked at night. No idea why so many would want to cram in to Romanita when there are the same amenities a block away and it’s practically empty.

Report Check-In

it's all about location walk to everything.. easily fits my truck an camper, big rigs won't like it here. very clean washrooms and showers, wifi could be better.

Report Check-In

The place is meh. The staff is pretty rude and the Wi-Fi garbage, but it’s super close to the middle of town in a fun touristy area.

Report Check-In

Señora owner wants 300 pesos now for dry camping for a night. A bit pricy for what you get.

Report Check-In

Bathrooms work, shower meh, level place to park in the middle of town for cheap. I would not suggest plugging in without a really good surge protector. I feel like I got lucky and didn't blow any appliances or fuses. Great place to flop on Loreto, if you are planning a longer stay then I would recommend looking at the other places first.

Report Check-In

Small and unkempt parking lot adjacent to a pretty little motel. (Broken toilet fixtures in the RV sites.) Maybe 8 spaces in a great location. The best cell service too as you are directly under the city tower. We think they are in a transition and will improve but currently owned by someone who over values the property and managed by someone who is over worked and underpaid. Her demeanor tells you everything. After no electricity in any of the 12 sockets we tried, they reduced the 300 pesos to 250. if it were not for the location and security we would have left. We are hoping for better things from this little city park.

Report Check-In

Great location in downtown Loreto. Small but has hot showers and clean bathrooms. Parked under a huge palapa, very dark, probably nice and cool in the summer. Wifi virtually nonexistent except in office. Easy walk to malecon or town square. 2 small grocery stores heading north out of town.

when I die, if I go to hell, I'll be haunted by this shower. in 2 years being a nomad, this one was at the bottom of the list. the drain backed up instantly, dingy, and not clean. skip this one and hit Romanita instead. they're both centrally located, but Romanita is on the nice pedestrian road and looked much nicer as we walked by. the staff is very apathetic as well, definitely not kind at all. also, their office can be heard from the mens toilet and vice versa, which adds to that hellish shower vibe. plus the sink is outside the bathroom so theres no way you're gonna shave your face. I'm not usually negative. sorry. it's safe I guess. they lock the gate at 9 and give you a key. definitely hit up La Michoacana for their self made ice cream and popsicles. loreto is nice!

Report Check-In

The place is clean and safe. No TP in the bathrooms, so carry yours with you. I dint understand the “too hot” statements about the showers?? They have cold water here, just add cold as needed to get a really nice temp!! 200 pesos. No laundry. The internet is OK by the office and fades fast 10 meters away! Nice spot for a couple of nights for a fair price. They could use some benches by the office to make catching up via WiFi a little more comfortable.

Report Check-In

Stayed in the empty vacated 5th wheel front yard on the SE corner. Wasn’t offered until we asked Best spot in town! Too hot shower, quiet, walk to the brewery.

Simple parking lot with a few palapas. Really long rigs may be difficult to park. Showers were really hot! Toilets had seats. Charged 200 pesos a night. Nice location near town center, beach, and lots of restaurants. We were only planning on staying one night but ended up staying 2 because we enjoyed the area so much! they lock the gate at night around 9.

Report Check-In

As described. You are also competing with visitors who bring their fishing boats. 200 pesos for secure boat parking is pretty reasonable. Boats are nice quiet neighbors.

Report Check-In

We were the only guests on the campsite as described by others .
Wifi going on and off all the time . Shower was too hot .
Staff at reception is most interested in the big TV screen in the office .
Gate is locked at 21.00h , so we didn't need a key for the night .
But next morning , nobody to open the gate . Staff only arrived at 14.00h
We stayed a extra day , because too late to drive to our next destination.
So , ask for the key when you book in .

Small RV park 1/2 block from the water. Has wifi and hot showers.

Report Check-In

$200mxp full hookup with cover.
Same price for dry camping or just water and electricity in the sun.
Parking lot gets filled with hotel guests. Close to everything in town. Quiet.
Showers are not hot during rush hours. Internet crashed and did not come back before morning. Locked gate at night.

Report Check-In

excelente ubicación, A una cuadra de l playa y cercano a bar y restaurante caminando. el lugar cuenta con luz, agua, baños y duchas. pagamos 200 pesos el día. La señora de la recepción es muy amable.

Report Check-In

Palapas and open air spaces are the same price which is pretty lame. We asked to pay less (jeep camper, no palapas) and were initially denied but then later they refunded us 50p so only paid 150p for the night. Great location a short walk to town/water. There is a craft brewery about 3 min walk away. Shower was warm enough to bear but not ‘warm’ or ‘hot’ by any means. Internet worked really good, between 5-10MB down speed but you have to be close to the office. Gate gets locked at night around 9-10pm. Had a relatively quiet night.

Report Check-In

Reasonably priced and great location. However, every time we’ve stayed here something isn’t working (ie no hot water, no internet, etc). None of this is ever relayed to us when we arrive. The last time we stayed a woman from the office came asking us to pay when we had already paid another woman for two nights. Not a big deal except that she seemed pretty angry, spoke no English, and we had a tough time explaining that we had already paid.

Report Check-In

Still as johnandmandi said. Dirt spots in the parking lot aren't attractive for roof-top tenters. No privacy.

Report Check-In

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Staff is very unfriendly and the internet connection is a joke as it barely works.

Report Check-In

perfect spot right in town. frindly helpfull staff, slow internet, hot showers.

Report Check-In

Stayed one night, we liked being in the heart of the town and at a reasonable rate. Shower was hot for a while.

Report Check-In

Perfect place to stay in town. Water was hot. $200 per night.

Report Check-In

As described. 200 pesos a night for two people. Felt really safe. Nothing fancy but the town is nice. Showers reasonably clean. Wifi worked well.

Report Check-In

Convenient place inside the city. Got charged the same $200 pesos rate even though they gave us an uncovered open spot, unlike the rest of the area which only has covered palapa-style RV spots

Report Check-In

Unbeatable location in the middle of Loreto. One minute walking distance to the entral plaza. We paid 200 Pesos for two people.

Report Check-In

We didn't stay here, it was the first place we checked out in Loreto. Most campsites are permanently occupied, the few available for travelers were open dirt parking spaces, cost quoted was 100 pesos per person. The campground has a gated entrance. We checked the showers and the water was lukewarm, as expected according to management.

Report Check-In

Fantastic finding downtown Loreto! It's small, simple but a block away from the beach and the main square. M$200 with water, electricity and internet.
