This spot is ok, it was quiet all night. Two cars hunked in the morning around 6:30, but nobody came to tell that we were not allowed there. Maybe some locals don’t appreciate campers. I can somehow understand a part of their frustration as there was so much toilet papers all around trees where people pooped or pissed i guess! Please, please, please, be respectful, leave no trace
Report Check-InUpdate: after our last post earlier on, someone working at the conservation area came by around 7am telling us camping is not allowed here. He seemed to just be a maintenance person and didn't even know what to say when we told him there are no signs and online it simply says parking is free and nothing about no overnight parking or camping. He was relatively pleasant and you could probably avoid anyone if you leave early in the morning. Still though, there are no signs and no information saying you cannot stay there, so I don't know if he could have actually made us leave. He told us to call the office first before staying.
Report Check-InNice spot with a good view. Two picnic tables, no toilets. There are no signs and no information saying you cannot park or camp here overnight. Despite that though, we had multiple cars honking excessively while driving past in the morning, one even at 5:30am, which is really sad because they are causing more of a disturbance by honking than we are by sitting/sleeping in our car silently.
Report Check-InNice spot. Good view overlooking the water. Easy to park. There was one other camper that came in shortly after us. Some noise from the road but it’s dies down at night.
Report Check-InNice quiet spot. There were two other vehicles that spent the night. One stayed regularly without issue. No facilities, nice view of sunset.
Report Check-InGood spot a little spooky since it’s so secluded. Was the only one there, nice lookout. Two picnic tables no toilets. Can hear the occasional car pass on the highway beside but other than that a pretty dead street.
Report Check-InIncredible view and yet nicely sheltered from the storms that roll in off the water. We stayed the night with our large motorhome and other RVs pulled in for the night too. Undisturbed. Road was quiet. Beautiful drive to get there. Highly recommend.
Report Check-Invery quiet place even if it si closed to the road.
and a nice view on the bay
we were 1 camper and 1 car tent-roof this night
nice spot with picnic table overlooking bay. no signs mentioning no parking nor overnight parking. quiet!
Report Check-InThis lookout point belongs to Grey Sauble Conservation. There isn’t any sign saying “no camping”. Close to road but it isn’t very busy. Nice view of Georgian Bay. Ok for a one night stay. Good cell service.
