Nepal
The Wild Planet Eco Lodge is a new facility, simple but built with attention to detail. The lodge is run by Krishna, a young Nepali and his friends.
The lodge has a very nice campground for tents (we paid 100 rupees/night for our large camper), bungalows with private bathrooms (500 Nrs) and a restaurant. Electricity and Wifi available.
Krishna, an experienced guide himself, organizes Jungle Walks. If you would like to do one, which is highly recommended, ask for Baba. Baba, a passionate guide who knows a lot about tigers, showed us wonderful places, explained animal tracks and showed us what to look out for. Yes, we actually saw a tiger!
Krishna, Baba and his friends pay a lot of attention to nature and also to the fact that it is not disturbed too much by tourist activities, propagate "soft" tourism.

Awesome place! We went on safari with Baba, who ist just a great guy who loves the jungle and does his best to converse it.
Report Check-InThis place is truly a gem! We stayed here for 4 nights in the bungalow and arranged a walking Safari with Bragash (Babas Brother).
Walking through the habitat of rhinos and tigers was an amazing experience and we were really lucky to encounter both!
The resort is a really chilled place, where you can easily spend some days, read a book and just forget about time! The food in the restaurant is average, but you can also walk into the village for some samosas or fruits.
They have a water filter and you get filtered water for free.
The staff are very friendly and we Baba and Bragash are lovely people!
I definitely recommend staying here.
You can camp for free here as long as you want. Big rigs too. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is nice and not so expensive. They can also arrange a safari in the jungle if you want.
