Meraki | Restaurant

we met and lived with the people of meraki, and we do not believe that the version they gave is true. The town is very safe, the police take good care of the area. We thought it was a misunderstanding on the part of the travelers. In fact, it is a restaurant that is very visited by foreigners and they highly recommend it.

After talking to Hector and parking our campervan for the afternoon, we got back 2 hours later to find our campervan broken into.
locals having diner there were really friendly and before them Hector was too. until they left and he accused us of trying to get money from him (because that's why tourists come to Salento of course)
Police came and Hector immediately took the chief separate.
we went to 2 police station to have reports filed and we got information there Salento really is a place to be very careful. They have a suspicion a very small portion of the robberies get's reported but even so they knew about lots of them.
