There is a no overnight camping sign posted here. The residents across the street do not like people parking for night. Go to the boat launch a short drive away for overnight camping.
Report Check-InArrived here yesterday mid afternoon, seemed chill and a beautiful spot until I went to check my wifi hotspot and noticed a network named « no free camping » — most likely from someone living on the street opposite the parking lot. There were about 4 other cars there at the time of other people staying the night. About an hour after that a police vehicle rolled by so we decided to
try the other area up the beach which was much more quiet.
quite clean spot. no room for big rigs. about 6 other campers here overnight. felt safe. great spot. lake is very nice.
Report Check-InTel que décris plus bas. Très belle place pour passer la nuit. On devine que la ville de WaWa a beaucoup investit pour aménager le lieu. Respectons-les en ne laissant pas de traces à notre départ! 😇
Report Check-InNice and quiet little sandy beach. View is awesome. Close to amenities
Report Check-Inplayed in the sand, played in the snow, wished for the 100th time I had a kayak
Report Check-InGreat location. Beautiful view!! Bathroom avaîable. Other campers were there. Very calm. Would go back :)
Report Check-Inamazing. few people but quiet and nice beach. the fog on the lake at morning was stunning. we stayed here 3 nights.
Report Check-InQuiet place to park for the night. Bathrooms were available. Beach was beautiful. Would stay again!
Report Check-InAmazing spot with such a beautiful lake! The town is lovely and has everything you need, grocery, canadian tire, gas/convenience, and a laundromat. I actually recommend driving down the downtown street past all the stores to the end where there’s a health centre. (Just Past the boat launch gravel area). The parking on the right side (dirt/gravel) has a nice private cute little beach that no one came while I was there except to walk their dogs. Nice to finally have a spot away from the highway.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot on Wawa lake. Stopped in for a night. Multiple campers in the parking lot. Nice and quiet for a night.
Report Check-InGreat place to stay with our 28 feet RV......really quiet and safe at night. We have a 4 month baby and would stay there again! Amazing view
Report Check-Inparking by the Brach. quite busy until late at night and again early in morning. otherwise ok to spend the night. lots of room. Nice view of lake with picnic tables.
Report Check-InBeautiful place on the beach wit parking next to it, picnic table and pit toilets.
Report Check-InBeautiful lake and beach. Stayed here one night with a couple other vans. It’s pretty close to houses but not too loud. Heard from some other people that were is a quite spot right on the water a little further down
Report Check-InAwesome and quiet spot to stop for a night. No big rigs, but ample parking, toilets, garbage, and a beautiful view!!
Report Check-InGreat place right on the beach. The bottom of the lake is all sand and the water is clear and cool, perfect to cool off. Level parking. Pit toilets were really clean. People are friendly and WaWa has everything you may need to stock up.
Report Check-InSpent one night here with no problems. Very quiet. Garbage cans available. Nice little beach.
Report Check-InStayed here last night, lovely beach used by locals. We have a fairly big rig but kept it low key and no problems. A few locals came over for a chat. Two other small vans also here.
Report Check-InSpacious parking in front of the lake. Amazing view! No restriction signs. There are garbage cans, pic-nic tables and pit toilets (not sure If pit toilets are permanent because, at the moment, the workers are fixing the beach). We spent one night here with no problems. Very quite place!
