Gorgeous is all I can say. A large 2 km long sandy beach with only 18 campsite spread out, you don’t even know there’s anyone else here till your enjoying the sun on the beach and see other campers doing the same. Sites are large and no problem fitting two units into one site. Had no problem finding a site on a Monday afternoon with only two other campers here and on turned out to be locals whom use it as a summer cabin we stayed in site 15 next time I’d try for site 1 or 18

Beautiful free campsite right on the water. No bins or potable water, but there is a stream nearby if you have a filter. Road coming down from town is long and bumpy, but should be manageable for most vehicles if you take it slow.

there's lots of water here, disregard post previous. you literally have to cross a bridge over a fresh water source to get into camp. and 2km down the beach is also a source. get yourself a filter folks.

Google maps lead us down an unnecessary rough stretch out of Sandspit. Follow Schoolhouse Rd in Sandspit to Copper Bay Mainline Rd. Gravel Rd not pleasant but doable
Few people midweek so got a huge double site to ourselves. only some have views due to trees but all back up to beach. Come prepared as there are not services or groceries nearby. no water. Huge stretches of empty beach especially when tide is out. Didn't kayak but saw one out there. At different times of day water was fairly calm. Free. There is a warning about bears so be prepared to stash food. Short hike to Cove but didn't see other trailheads.

The gravel road is long (20+ km). But it is fairly smooth if you stay on the mainline. No 4wd or high clearance needed.
Beautiful and empty private place to be. We stayed an extra night because we liked it so much.
Some sites have better view of the water...others are more protected in case of weather off the ocean.
Pack it in, pack it out. Please don't make a mess and get places like this taken away!!!!!

Wonderful site with a great view. The last kilometers of the road are bumpy and not very wide. We were happy that we have 4WD.

Unreal spot for camping next to the beach. All the spots are close to the sand, but some have better outlooks from the campsites - #11 was awesome. Road is full of potholes on the way, but no requirement for high clearance or 4WD. Short walk to Secret Cove. No reception. Minimal driftwood around for fires so best to bring it in. Free

The logging road is very bumpy. We have a Dodge Caravan and it was a very long stressful ride. The place is worth the trip because you have a 180 degree view of the Bay. Pit toilets available at almost every sites.
