loved this place. was a little overgrown with weeds but that was expected. nice fire ring. good phone service with At&T

Report Check-In

Decent spot. a bit overgrown in areas but likely because nobody has been here in a while. Would return.

Report Check-In

Really nice spot. Also very cool if you have 4wd, there are some little climbs and obstacles to tackle and driving on the sandy paths is so fun! If you don't have 4wd, no problem there is an easy route around. Fire pit was a bonus!

Report Check-In

This is a great but tricky spot. I didn’t have any problems with the roads in 2wd in a truck with pretty aggressive tires. It was tricky to find a good spot it the dark because there was nothing obvious as everything was pretty over grown with long grass. That being said it’s a great quite spot on especially if you get there in the day to find a spot.

Report Check-In

Roads were super sandy and we made it about a minute before getting stuck and having to dig out with a shovel. Probably okay for a 4wd suv or something small, but our van is 2wd. There was one spot near the front on some grass but it was taken so we’re looking elsewhere.

Report Check-In

Great place, lots of spots and open areas. Some road noise but it’s very nice. If you have a higher clearance vehicle it opens up a lot more area.

Report Check-In

Spent one night here without any issues. The sand is pretty well packed. There was quite a bit of trash here. Please pick up after yourself and of course leave it cleaner than you got here. There are multiple sites here.

Report Check-In

We had no trouble getting here in a 4-wheel drive, non-high clearance vehicle. Turn onto DNR land off Bear River road across from barn that has Hermina Farms on side. Stay to the right onto a track, leads right to the spot.

Report Check-In

Got stuck but kept trying and made it. Had to drive off the path due to how poor spots were. Very nice here.

Report Check-In

This is beautiful spot, but tough to get to. The roads to the top of the hill are barely more than ATV trails. We eventually made it up using the first road to split off (2wd sprinter 118 with good tires) and the sunset was very worth it.

Report Check-In

If you want to avoid the steep road, this access has several easier roads that take you to the same area. Super nice spot

Report Check-In

Trail was hard to spot at night, but we used our satellite view on GPS and finally found it. Parked in a little spot between some trees because I wasnt sure our van was going to make the road up the hill. But when morning came and we could see, we drove further up trail and it was beautiful with all the fall colors! Nice little spot! Little bumpy, drive slow.

Report Check-In

great little place at the top of the hill as stated. a bit sandy so didn't go back to the original camp spot still nice and relatively quite. listened to owls last night. there does seeme to be a bit of tree sap around so beware of doggy toes

Report Check-In

Nice spot. Road is a bit sandy and bumpy coming in but I made it with a 2wd van (and will hopefully make it back out again in the morning).
