Peru
Near the peninsula Esteves (east of centro) on the waterfront, fast internet, very nice lobby, expensive but spot with ocean view. Cost 25 USD per vehicle per night

Wow, we are so thankful we found this place (it was Plan B). Still $25 USD/night and worth it. It feels like vacation. Water spigot, bathroom, and hot shower inside. WiFi available in the pretty lobby, and it also works in the cafe seating area. Beautiful, lush grass to park on with a sublime view of the lake. The way the shadows play with the mountains at sunrise and sunset is so beautiful. We took our Uros tour through the hotel. It was more expensive than others we read about, but we also thought the cost was worth it. Our guide grew up on the islands and took us to where he lives with his wife and two beautiful daughters. The most incredible thing about this stay was how all the hotel staff treated us. Even though it’s an upscale hotel and we are relatively dirty overlanders, every staff member made us feel valued and special. Not sure we’ve encountered customer service this genuinely kind anywhere else.
Report Check-InNice place 25 usd per night and you can use hotel shower, bath, garden.. The entry for the grassy area is a little bit narrow but it was OK for our pick up plus trailer. Electricity and water avaliable
Report Check-InVery very expensive camping for us but if you really need a good shower then it maybe worth the 25 USD.
Report Check-InStayed here 3 nights. Felt nothing awkward. Perhaps they were under construction earlier but no workers bothering or looking at us. The camping area is next to the lake and very well maintained grass which our dogs love. Staff is very helpful and kind. The bathrooms have really good water pressure and provided with all the amenities like clean towels, shampoos and stuff. There is wifi is strong in lobby and restaurant. You can chill in their lounge areas next to beautiful lake views and very safe. It was worth the money for us.
Report Check-InThey ask for 25usd a night and you can use electricity, showers and Wi-Fi.
We moved on, too expensive.
Definitely awkward, but secure. Maintenance crew walking by our van non stop.
Report Check-InWe stayed here four nights and enjoyed the facilities and location. Yes, it is more expensive than the usual fare ($25US per night) but you get what you pay for. Excellent wifi (we use a booster), hot showers with towels and shampoo, etc. Immaculately clean. Potable water. Allowed us to dump our grey water on grass. Easy walk to dock. Easy walk to Plaza Vea for excellent shopping. Secure parking with guard all night.
Report Check-InAlthough you get everything you need, this feels a little awkward. There is no reason this should cost 85 Soles other than the fact that they also have posh hotel rooms for 200 US$. Obviously the regular hotel guests are of a different kind than Overlanders. You can park on a small concrete surface that can fit 2 small cars maximum. The grassy area is huge but not for camping. Yes, you can see the lake from the parking spot, but it is not exactly a view. Staff will walk around your car to reach the shed right behind. You get to use the staff toilet and shower, which are indeed very clean. Dish washing was allowed upon request in the staff room that is somehow associated to the restaurant's kitchen. People are very friendly and welcoming. Bottom line: this is not really set up for camping although you get everything you need at a very high price, and it is safe.
Report Check-InExpensive but safe. Take advantage of the unlimited coca tea available at the lobby. Good WiFi, grassy area, lake views. Nice super hot showers, friendly staff. They accepted our dog on a leash in the parking and camping area, not inside the hotel of course.
Report Check-InWe agree with the former reviews. The name of this hotel is now Sonesta Hotel
Report Check-InThey still accept campers, 25$ US two adults, two small kids, nice lobby and huge garden with a trampoline, long chairs, tables and traditional straw huts.
Great shower with a lot of hot water, exactly the temperature you like :) towels, shampoo/soap set.
Might be a little tricky for big rigs to park at the lake view spot, as there is a roof aprox 3.5m high and some stuff from ongoing renovation standing at the wall, that makes the concrete place you park on a bit smaller.
Breakfast buffet is 13$ per Person extra
Expensive but nice and safe Lake Titicaca experience
25 US$ per vehicle plus 5 US$ for electricity per night. Cuys running around in the garden, but are not on the menu.
Report Check-InWe could park and dkeep in the car. They have showers next to the lobby with toilets. You can have tea in the lobby and use internet. 25 usdollars. Food in restaurant first class
Report Check-InThe Posadas Del Inca Hotel is a fantastic stop and reset. Rooms started at S.600 however they immediately offered us a special rate of approx S.240 for doubles. Food in the restaurant was great and they arranged a private boat tour to the Uros Floating Islands that departed right from the hotels pier. Very secure parking capable of accommodating large vehicles. We didn't ask about camping as we had planned on a hotel night, they do have a large grass area adjacent to the hotel. Good wifi!
