One of the 5 campground of Gros Morne National Park with a car access. Very crowded on summer.

Berry Hill Parks Canada campground: nice site in forest with firepit and picnic table, central ablutions with showers, washbasins, and flush toilets, covered area for cooking and presentations, CAD 35.00, firewood available at CAD 11.00. Handy for Rocky Harbour, not far from Western Brook Pond.
Report Check-InWe were looking for a place to stay that would be convenient to explore the north and central sections of Gros Morne National Park. We’re self-contained in our 25 feet/8 meter motorhome. We don’t use the facilities other than an occasional shower. This was a very pretty campground with ~70 sites. Some sites have electric and others do not. The sites are generously sized and arrayed in a way to allow for privacy. Some have more or fewer trees for additional privacy. The comfort station is clean. The push button showers had ample hot water and reasonable water pressure. There’s a dump station and potable water within the camping loop. There was a barely usable Verizon cell signal while roaming on Telus. There was no ATT/Bell signal. There’s slow and usable wifi near the comfort station. There’s a parking lot near Lobster Cove Head in Rocky Harbour with good ATT/Bell and Verizon/Telus signals if needed. In 2023, there’s a temporary Visitor Center in Rocky Harbour for info about the park while the new info center is being built.
Report Check-InAwesome campground. Walk in and got a non serviced site $29. Well maintained park, great staff.
Report Check-InLovely like most National Park Campgrounds. WIFI, woodstove, picnic tables and sink at kitchen shelter. We had electrical problem with electrical power provided. Could not resolve this. Moved to Gros Morne RV at Rocky Harbour. Same great facilities. Immaculate maintenance and no electrical issues.
Report Check-InAs described before us, a very nice NP campground; typical of those we’ve seen in Gros Morne.
Report Check-InNice amenities, including laundry and playground. Also an Rv dumping station. Couple of hikes right at the campground. Town of Rocky harbour close for groceries, gas etc. Good moose burgers in town. Don’t miss having one!
Report Check-InUnserviced site 25.50. Centrally located with hikes nearby and the town of Rocky harbour very close. Lots of trees around the outer sites. This campground has new and amazing facilities (I do not know if this is common at all the Gros Morne campsites?). One centrally located facility in the middle of the campground. Toilets with very clean stalls and several free shower stalls. Water was very hot. But the greatest part of the building is an open walled but roofed kitchen/common area with wifi that has two woodstoves and a stock of wood. It was very warm with the stoves going. If you are tenting it would make sense to camp close to this area and hang out by the stoves in cold weather. It got very cosy in this area.
We stayed 2 nights and only left as there was a Hurricane warning and Parks Canada closed down all the campsites.
Clean national park campground. Brand new facilities, very clean free showers. The best thing is a covered communal kitchen/ hang out area with 2 wood stoves and free wood for this area. Very cozy and warm. Helpful discussions with other campers. If tent camping I’d get a site close to this and hang out there. Serviced and non serviced sites. A couple of hikes are right off this campsite. I think it was about 20$ for unserviced site.
