Beautiful campsite along the Arkansas River. A graded dirt road leads to various campsites. Our campsite had a fire ring. No potable water but water is easily accessible from the river.

Came up here to spend a few weeks. (Max stay permitted 14 days) Found a good spot that was occupied by 3 different vehicles before I was fast enough to land in it. This is a beautiful place with lots of trails and SHADE. A beautiful rafting river is near by and accessible. Please note: Sexually aggressive dogs should be kept on leashes. Shouldn’t have to raise my voice at someone else’s dog to get them off my leashed Husky. Besides that this place is wonderful! A+ area. ^_^
Note: there is both Verizon & T-Mobile coverage here. Big plus for us remote workers. 😅
Report Check-InThere are formal and informal campsites along this road, some better than others. It is a beautiful view of the river either way. Narrow dirt road, a bit rough in spots but fine for 2 wheel drive. Park Ranger monitors area but was very nice and glad to have him around keeping us safe.
Report Check-Insign posted saying no camping yet there was someone here. Not sure if it closed for COVID or indefinitely.
Report Check-InSo pretty right on the river. This area is worth driving through too
