Unaka road north of TN-395 is closed as of 5/30/24. No vehicular access. Not sure why or when it will be opened up.

Stopped by today, but did not stay. Seemed like the people staying here, at least currently, might be living here. It didn’t give off good vibes, so we moved on.

Stayed a night here, highway was pretty loud. Sign says not for extended stays, so probably no more than 1 night.

Awesome place on the river mouth. So quiet and peaceful. You feel like the only one on earth. No trash, please help to keep it that way.

We were a group of 3 senior ladies with 3 vehicles. We arrived mid-afternoon. A few vehicles came during the afternoon, checked us out and left. Seems like this is a party spot during weekends. Overnight, there were at least 4 cars that came by and turned around. One even honked its horn at 1am!

Don't promote these places as they're wild animals being fed and extorted as an attraction. The caiman stick around because of the food, yet they're not in good health. During the dry season you can see hundreds of caiman in a single day at natural sites by just driving over the dirt roads.

Amazing wildlife to see here just as described! Not sure when the ferry is out of working order, but we used the ferry here (dry season). It's 68 R$, which is obviously overpriced towards tourists.

Amazing tour and great guy! We same tropical otters, giant river otters, many birds, an ocelot and the jaguar got scared away by fishing tourists that got too close. So missed it by a few seconds... (keep your distance from wild life!). Price has changed, 2000 R$ for full day use of his boat, R$ 1250 for half day use. Groups of 5, tops. This makes it cheaper as you split the costs.

Came in here around 7 pm. A few local cars were parked. Stay here for a night. Nice and quiet. No issues at all.

There are "NO" parking signs on this block during the day so one would need to leave in the morning and arrive in the evening. Don't remember exact times as we drove by and then looked elsewhere.

Lunches for 10 soles. Typical lunch, nice people.

There are sooooo many sites down the Succor Creek Road. If you're heading south, 10 miles down is a spot under a big beautiful aspen. There's a fire ring and a mineshaft. It doesn't go too deep. Across the road is two other sites (that remained unoccupied last night) that have views of the creek and have more shade. Absolutely gorgeous spots.

There is a sign indicating this road is for authorized vehicles only. But I stayed the night there, amazing spot. Since it is a protected area, make an effort to leave it better then you found it and do not swim in the lake.

Really good food, hearty and cheap. 15,000 CLP for 2 starters, 2 main courses, one water, one coca-cola!

Great place! Recommended! Friendly owners. Sauna nearby in a hotel, tours available, nice little village with monkeys around, no mosquitoes (this time), Huskies around (friendly), 5,-$, clean toilet.

Quiet and peaceful. Be prepared for mosquitoes. Could swim here later in the summer.

Little campground. Around 5 spots. Mostly for tents. I don't think big rig fits except for 1 spot. Fire pits and tables. One pit toilet. Not all spots are leveled. You can stay up to 14 days. We didn't find anywhere to pay and one of the guy next to us told us it was free. We have a 20ft van and it was fine. Great little trail to the creek starting in the campground.

This is a rest stop on the west bound side but a pretty easy uturn if you are east bound. Lots of highway noise but it’s a little more removed than the other rest stops.

The route from Humahuaca is doable for any car, even for normal 2WD no problem. It is also quite easy for larger trucks. There is a large parking area at the top. The view to the the colourful mountains is impressive and worth it. Enjoy! 🤩👍

Walmart parking lot. Class B van, one night, many big rigs. Good reception. Level spot.

Designated daytime parking area for large vehicles. Signs all through town prohibit RVs and vehicles with trailers from street parking between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Sign at entrance to this lot says RV and camper day use allowed and encouraged.

Has picnic tables, trash cans, a dumpster, and nearby playground.

Water taps at each individual marina slip, closest about 20 feet from pavement. Don't park in numbered spaces.

Very nice place with trees, quiet town. We only had our lunch but pleasant.

We asked at the gomerias and one sells gasolina. We paid 8 BOL/l.

Today they only had diesel and no gasolina.

There are concrete blocks at the end of the street just before crossing the tracks.
