Great place for defenders! Warm welcoming from everyone. Very competent, fast and efficient team. They took care of our car straight away despite the fact that we came unexpectedly. They have a very good knowledge of defenders, discovery, and other Land rovers. rox everything. Reasonable price! Thanks to Andrea and his entire team!

Came here with Dengue (careful, there is a high risk of getting Dengue in North Argentina!).

Hospital is okay, but very basic.

They took my temperature under my arm and it showed 37 degrees, although I had over 39. Blood was taken in the hallway, the equipment was very rudimentary. Dengue test was not done because my symptoms were clear and there was a dengue outbreak in the city.

Doctors did not speak English, but there were students, e.g. from Brazil and Peru, who spoke English and helped me translate.

Hospital OK for "minor things" but if it was more serious I would go to Salta!

Parking available, emergency room works quickly.

That's a small shop with a friendly owner who sells some basic spare parts for cars, oil (for motorcycles too) and some accessories.

Drove this road today and no police or checkpoint there. The road is gravel and washboardy but doable without problems

One of the few places we found accessible with our 3m tall rig, crowded but got lucky with a spot that fit our vehicle. 100 UR pesos to park for the day. Had an attendant watching the vehicles.

Super nice café to have breakfast or homemade cake. Very friendly owners. Good WiFi available.

Good supermarket with all you might need. Better than the one in Fiambala. And they also have fresh fruit and vegetables.

I went there twice but they were closed for holidays, so I don’t even apply for a visa.

U.S. passport. $35 for 30 day single entry visa. Applied at 9am, got visa at 3pm. Full page visa. 90 day double entry visa is $85. Would not let me pay in birr, only $ or €.

Flight or train ticket. I bought a train ticket from Addis to Dire Dawa and that was enough to get visa. Can’t buy ticket in Addis to Djibouti for the train, you have to buy that one in Dire Dawa.
If i wanted to drive my own vehicle in they said to go get a confirmation letter from the U.S. embassy.

Nice campsite by the lake. Most ofbthe places under the pines. Calm and relax. Basic services, potty WC but no showers. Dry camp: 30 CAN dollar. Good WIFI 5 CAN. The only place we f
ound on Dease Lake with good WIFI.

As described, just a few miles west of the state line, accessible via WB I-70 only, at the top of a hill with western views, so the setting sun shone straight in my windshield. It was peaceful, though, and a quiet night. Relatively flat (some spots more angled than others) and I had 4 bars 5G on TMobile.

Stayed here over a week while waiting for our shipment from Montevideo.

Friendly staff, Campground is „okay“ in off season. Hot shower just worked in afternoon (Solar) and when not to many people using it.
Still no doors. Bathrooms got a little bit cleaned once a week, but where kind of clean.

There is a lot of football going on on the weekends, so the field and bathrooms get busy until midnight. Super quiet monday - friday.

Some moskitos around, but they are everywhere in this area!

We just payed 3.000 ARS (3 USD) per night, since we stayed longer. Normal price in off season is 6.000 ARS (6 USD)!

Paid only 400 IQD at displayed pet liter and left finally.
