We were heading for twin lakes when we encountered a ton of snow despite being early May. luckily this spot worked out quite well. couple of other rigs in the lot. Safe area. had a cozy stay with the diesel heater running. good option if you get stuck like we did.

Along Graham Road. A few potential spots for overnight camping. I’m 2km away from the highway so it was super quiet.

Site description is accurate - this is a quiet residential street (houses & apartments) in the Saint Boniface French Quarter. I parked closer to rue Aulneau near a boarded up building so not to be parked right in front of someone’s house. No time limit between 17:30 hrs to 09:00 hrs. and 2 hr. parking otherwise. Several coffee shops, restaurants, and shops are within a very short walk. The Museum of Human Rights and The Forks National Historic Site is within an easy walk just across the Red River via a pedestrian bridge.

A quiet park with lots of shady trees. Some pitches with lake views, all equipped with electricity and water. Not very busy.

I got a message on my windshield saying that staying here is not allowed.
I called the number and the owner confirmed we're not allowed to stay overnight.

Great spot! Nice to be next to the river too. We had bad weather but it looks like you could go for a dip here.

Looking for a spot that’s Starlink and solar panel friendly? Your search is over!

I drove around the for a while to find a spot that has good view of the sky. There aren’t very many in this part of the forest but if you make a turn down a slightly narrow dirt road it’ll lead to a meadow that has a patch of dirt large enough for a van.

It’s a little buggy because there’s a stream running through the meadow. It isn’t big rig friendly, my high top Sprinter was just small enough to make it down the road. There were some low hanging branches but they were small and didn’t cause any damage.

There are also a few more spots tucked under the trees.

This is a small unsigned trailhead parking spot along a dirt road with very little traffic. It’s level and fairly clean.

This is a parking space with room for a couple of vans, at an unsigned trailhead along a dirt road with little traffic. It’s quiet and fairly clean. The trail is short (1.5 mile?) but interesting, and Santa Fe, Las Golondrinas, and Ojo Santa Fe are fairly close. It’s in piñon and juniper woodland with grass and volcanic rocks.

Definitely more traffic noise than expected from reading others’ descriptions. This spot is close to a busy road, but is fine for a night. Some trash, including a mattress and box spring that someone dumped in the lot. Great view of Rainier when the mountain is out. Fast cellular data with 3 bars of Verizon 5G and 3 bars of AT&T.

Parked here for an hour behind the store before checking in with the employees if it’s ok to overnight park behind the building. They said no and to park out front of the store. We moved to the front and decided to leave and go to the next CB in Twinsburg.

Spot beneath trees off the side of road 1253. This side road is recommended only for vehicles with high clearance. definitely 4WD in anything but dry conditions - we got in without any issues in our Dodge Grand Caravan in May, but had to take it slow as in places the road resembles an offroader track.

Once here we had shelter from the sun under trees and sweeping views over the grasslands. Not another soul around except for bird life (including wild turkeys).

Really nice place! We camped for free and had breakfast at the restaurant for 10 soles each, even though the owner did not ask for anything. They are very friendly and the hotel has great views (one of the best ones from town).

They also have rooms for 30 soles or more expensive ones.

Best views in town. Very friendly owner.
This small hotel from locals is cozy and confortable. Rooms starting from 30 soles and some of them with direct views of the waterfall.

There is also a restaurant at usual prices.
Trek to the waterfall passes just through the hotel door.

We‘ve been there just looking for a shower but used the possibility to also do a little Workout at the gym and try the sauna. It‘s still 3$ and an amazing spot for the money. Also if u want to you can throw some Balls at the Basketball-Court. Make sure to turn on the sauna early :).

Pull in campsite near top of hill. Mostly flat with space for at least 2 trucks, maybe 3. There is a fire ring.
This is on DNR land and the signs indicates you can camp in this area. Very little noise from HWY 12 below.
It is a steep-ish climb up here but saw a Honda Civic pass by. 4 bars Verizon LTE.

Great place ~1/2 mile from US62/180. The road is somewhat rough climbing up from the highway, but you’re going to need clearance and if pulling an Overland trailer, you’ll need 4x4. It’s not technical but since we’re only spending one night, we didn’t air down the tires, but took it real slow to try and avoid a puncture. Only very slight noise from the highway, not much really.
