Nice flat lot. Fire pits at sites by the back fence. Access easy. One bar 5G with t-mobile. There were 8 rigs in early May. Some people run their generators all night. I came here because Carlsbad Caverns National Park has no campgrounds and doesn’t allow overnight parking.

Large lot. Relatively flat. Easily accommodates large rigs. The road in was a breeze. There are fire pits along the back fence. Watch for rigs with generators sitting out as they run these all night long.

Very clean and a not too much noise. I stay away of the road. The wash machine and dryer are 1.25$. The shower are for only the trucker.

J'ai resté ici une nuit, pas trop bruyant. Je me suis stationné au fond près de l’hôtel et loin de l'autoroute. Laveuse sécheuse à 1.25$. Les douches sont seulement pour les camionneurs.

I've pass there today and they are not open yet. Still too cold.

No blockages and a clear road as of May 2024.

They no longer allow overnight parking. Large new signs are everywhere and we also checked with the manager! Go to the nearby Casino instead. They changed their policy: all no overnight parking signs have been removed and their website clearly states overnight parking is allowed ( in the FAQ section)

Quiet spot off of 98. Directly at a BLM sign.4 Bars Verizon. Dogs loved it.

One of three free camping areas around the lake. Picnic tables with old aluminum roof, bbq places available.

Saw no signs of people collecting money or blocks here today (May 2024)

Just to add a little more clarity. I checked with the parking lot security guard who confirmed it is ok to stay overnight as long as you park in the area south of the garden center.

I am on my second and night here I am th a lo e camper so there are no annoying campers hhere

The road is not that bad, we did it with a Sprinter. It is narrow with some bumpy parts. Once you are there it is a beautiful place. Nice walk to the different miradors. Even amazing if it is cloudy. Go very early or late afternoon.

nice place, quiet, on the old route 66. with fire ring. you can only hear the trains sometimes. no noise from the highway40.

There are clear no overnight parking signs entering the parking lot, so park at your own risk. I've been here many times without issue. Usually after 1AM and sometimes staying as late as 11AM. It's a quiet lot but well used. I usually see atleast 5 other campers and have seen more than 20. It seems to be pretty clean, so please be respectful so we can continue to have places like these be welcoming.

Good laundry with machine 5 to 10 kg, 3 tumbler too.

We agreed 5.000 Tenge for parking overnight for 3 big rigs with the guard, but in the late evening his boss sent us away. No sleeping in the car allowed, no discussion possible.
We went to the parking next to the Dinah Supermarket.
