Great place to spend a couple nights. Lots of semi’s around.. only noise was from them driving away and parking.

Stayed at this location for several days. The beach is beautiful and it is more of a location where locals hangout. It can get loud at night on weekends due to people partying. There are a few porta potties onsite - not very clean - but it gets the job done. This is a common spot for overnighters and did notice multiple rigs each day. Be cautious of where you drive as the sand can be soft (mainly closer to the beach) and did notice even 4x4 vehicles get stuck.

Beautiful spot, worth the bumpy road room for one van. Other spot near by.

O camping das termas tem banheiros limpos, pontos de água e energia para RVs, piso em pedra brita bem nivelado. Custa 40,00 a noite por veículo. Não tem sombra pela manhã, mas à tarde tem.

Posto de combustível seguro para pernoitar. Há grande fluxo de caminhoneiros. Estacionamos mais próximo ao restaurante, paralelo ao muro, que é um lugar mais tranquilo. No entanto, conexão fraca com internet. Durante o dia, estacionamos noutro local para melhor conexão.
Há banheiro gratuito para homens e mulheres. Banheiro feminino é bem tranquilo para uso e tem ducha quente (umas das duchas apenas frio, pois estava queimado).

The PN is only accessible for vehicule below 3,60m and below 10t as there is a wooden bridge on the way.

good place to spend the night. the pricing is very confusing and the security guards themselves don't really know how to handle everything. in the end we payed 30 for one night (approx 15-20 hours).

self service laundry. machines for 10, 14 and 28kg of either cold, warm or hot wash. 6 dryers available as wrll. detergent, sanatizer and softener are added automatically. prices range from 5 to 15 for washing and 4 for 24mins of drying.

Tried staying a night but they are currently doing construction in the parking lot. Work started after dark and continued past 11 pm. Not sure how the neighbors handle the noise but we left.

asked for a room as it was cold and rainy. prices have gone up too much for our budget (1650 pesos for two persons / one bed), so we stayed in the rv camp next door. there we paid 150 pesos and could pitch our tent under the palapa, mostly dry.

All the area is surrounded by fields of strawberries so it was difficult to find a spot.
This one is flat enough for one tent.
The ground is full of river stones, so it's better if you have air-mstressnto sleep
The access is step, so I left my bicycle on top
The noise of the road at night is negligible

Nothing spesh but perfect for a quiet night's sleep. We were shocked to see so many people after being in Oman for 2 months, and this is the only quiet spot we found in this area. There is some kind of resort being built next door, though. Mind you, the beach road is a dead end, and there's plenty of parking, so it's also fine to stay overnight there.

Reservations Required to Enter Cave! Go to Recreation.Gov and search for Carlsbad Caverns. Just make sure and book the day before. Went on a Monday very quiet in the Caves 🪇

this truck stop looks like all the others pretty much. they had no problem letting me stay overnight in the parking lot.

normally the truck noises don't bother me but they were especially loud tonight with trucks constantly coming and going.

they have showers and laundry like most truck stops do.

We drove all the way to the end of the tarmac and drove past some farms into the valley, easy with any vehicle. Many trees for shade and wind shelter. After we were parked for 30 minutes a local farmer came by and told us a lot without us understanding most of it. I don't know if he meant that all the terrain is his or not but he couldn't be happier to receive us. In the end we could use his house with living room, tv room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathroom for just the 2 of us. We decide to sleep in the rooftop tent anyway because we didn't want to sleep on the floor or in someone else's bed. What amazing hospitality again.

If you end up camping here just make sure to ask for approval of the farmer is there (this is his farm (23.8951173, 46.9359896). I'm sure he doesn't mind but just ask to be sure.

Some internet reception with STC at the farm but none further in the valley.

Nice flat surface of gravel close to the river. Very far from the road and very quiet. Accesible by motorbike or a tiny car through a dirt track from the western hwy. It is clean and there is shade. Please keep clean this place.

nice place to stay overnight and to start the Trip to the White Volcano next morning. sometimes Internet. right next to this place there is a little crater where you can drive in.

As there are not many offshoots along the road, we decided to stop at this open area. Just a few motorcycles and trucks passing along but at night there’s not much.

phone card at gas station and also right before customs. 5 GB, 25 min call for one week for 35 QAD at customs. looks like you only get 3 GB here?

You can pay with card at the petrol station but it is 2 rial more expensive when you do so. Makes no sense and that's the first time this happened in 10.000 km through Saudi. So I paid cash #cheapskate 😛
