Quite place, no one around, no amenities.
Didn t find easy to find a place to park our motorhome so we stayed in front of a gate entrance.
Dirt road to access.

We spent 4 nights here. quiet and safe place, it is on a street where very few vehicles pass.
At night there is a beautiful wind that refreshes you to rest.
There is a tap on the land next door, it is drinking water, Pedro, the father of the owner of the land, let us refill the tank.

Fabulous place. Sarah is a very friendly and helpful owner but all the staff are wonderful. Campers are welcomed to use all the lodge facilities - restaurant, pool, spa - we didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend

Good toilets and bathrooms. If you go in the back entrance they don’t come round to check if you’ve paid or not.

Unfortunately, the washing machines are broken - and have been for a while. The dryers still work. The employees don't expect the washing machines to be fixed any time soon and don't know when or if new ones will be purchased.

This was a serious bummer as we needed to do a lot of laundry and self-serve machines are hard to find in Chile. Plus, this would have been much cheaper than drop-off services.

Heritage park- small residential area with a great view, park closes at 10pm so can’t stay in the parking lot but great options right down the road. Old golden lantern road has lots of trees and plenty of space for parking. Pull out of the park and head down the road and park on the right. Little slanted so beware but no issues, stayed here a few nights.

Good place to park for the visit of Bocas. Because of our size we used the place at the main street behind the normal parking. It felt secure. But nothing to sleep. For us too loud. We looked for a place 10 Min. away in a gravel pit. Quiet. As we don’t know how the place developed, it could be it is just transitional, we didn’t put in here. But there are better options as this place for stay overnight.

Friendly and helpful people, no problems with the dogs, quiet at night except for events at the pyramids (which take place irregularly), then music until 3:00 in the morning. After staying 2 nights we left our truck there while we were in Mex City with no problems. No Dumping station, no water you want to have in your tank.

It's a plan B if the Hokusembe is complete. It's very near, but not the same quality.
View of the river from the pitches, but the camp leaves an impression of neglect

Side street in a quiet, upscale neighborhood that opens to the beach. We parked next to the Tierra Tropical Beach Club as there weren’t any no parking signs, but were sure not to block the driveway. Someone working at the club knocked on our door around 9am but didn’t actually say anything (though we left shortly after). You can probably park on the other side of the street without any problems but we wanted the view.

We were so glad that we made it to enter Chemaa‘s Parking with our Sprinter being 305cm high. Chemaa is very helpful and kind. He gave us a key for the gate so we could feel free to visit the nearby center by foot, which is very worth it. The toilets and hot showers were clean.
We can recommend this place without any doubt.

With the enormous influx of Chinese workers into Laos comes restaurants. This one we particularly liked a lot! The Mapo Tofu was one of the best I have had outside of China! We paid 120k kip for two people.

Not directly along the main road, but just behind. Look for signs 味道江湖

Verkehr von der Passstraße hört man nicht, es ist ohnehin nicht viel Verkehr. Für alle Fahrzeuge möglich, einsehbar von der Straße. Sehr ruhig. Kein Schatten. Kein Windschutz.

We stayed here for three nights. Although it was over the weekend, there was not too much music noise by night. The waves were definitely louder. We felt safe and had no issues. If arriving during the day on the weekend it might be getting difficult to find a - big enough - nice place. So better to come early in the day and preferably during the week.

Accessible via one is the side roads just before Cabo da Roca. Follow dirt road until you see an opening among trees and bushes to your right. Several other spots for camping a few metres further down the path. Beware of nearby cliffs. Shops and restaurants near the lighthouse.

We came here first a few nights and ended up coming back a number of time (17 nights in total). It is one of our favourite camp grounds in our trip thus far. The bathrooms were super clean, toilet seat, paper, hand soap, paper towel and good showers. The ocean was beautiful but too rough to swim in on many days. The palapas with table, electricity, chairs right by the water were amazing. It was a super chill vibe, no loud music, good fruit drinks and food at the restaurant. You can get your laundry done too. They lent us a ladder so we could do some work on the roof of our camper. Kind of expensive but they often have deals…3 nights for the price of 2 or 7 nights for the price of 5. Bring cash. Would go back in a heartbeat.🍁
