decent place away from town next to bay/tidal flats and mangrove. it is winter now and there were few to no insects. it is secluded with only one house visible. suitable for small rigs that can do some 4wd travel. paths are hardpacked sand and some thin mud, but nothing deep.

Great Hostel with private rooms and dormitories. I stayed some nights in a private room with air conditioning and own bathroom and shower for 120k and some nights in a dormitory (4beds) for 70k COP with own shower and bathroom. There is a spa as well and sauna included . Quite. Very good breakfast for reasonable price and restaurant. Located close to historic center and close to public transportation. Shuttle available as well. Very nice and helpful people. Highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful. Ralph and Christina have carved out a little piece of bliss on the Caribbean Sea. They have several flat spots nestled in the trees to overland camp. Very limited for large RVs or the huge overlanding rigs so call ahead. You will also find an awesome little toilet/shower room. The property is totally off grid with rain water catchment system so please be considerate of water use. 2-bar 3G and good Starlink service. Beautiful deck and soon a brand new Cabana to rent. Look for the gray gate at what is currently the end of the road.

Nice spot big enough for a few small tents, go through the gate to turn onto the ruta x-427 then immediately on your left is a sheltered spot in the trees good wind protection. Not visible from main road, visible from x-427 but the road is a dead end so not likely to be any traffic. No water available. Nice grassy spot further down this road, but no wind protection and not hidden from road either.

Well stocked mini market, all the usual basics, ham and cheese, tortillas and a good selection of frozen veggies too, although no fresh fruit or vegetables. Not too many shops along this route!

after a lot of searching in Coyhaique at least I found a flat street to spend the night. There is no traffic (little movement in the morning). Carabineros Saw me and my motorhome and they said nothing.

Chotu's farm is a paradise in India. The farm is fenced and you can park in its garden. It is perfect for all types of overlanders, also for large trucks. The family welcomes you wonderfully, making you feel like one of the house. They also make good European bread, croissants as they have a bakery in the village. They have a big flower plantation, dogs, a horse, cows, peacocks, during the day it is very quiet, no car whistles. The market and the sacred lake is just a 10-minute walk away. Totally recommended.

The price for the overnight stay is still 30 sol, plus 5 sol for the shower plus 5 sol for filling up with water. If we had known this beforehand, we would not have stayed here.

Toni doesn't work here anymore. I wanted a repair on my (BMW GS) front forks, but was not possible to do it here. Tom, friendly guy who works there, referred me to another mechanic, who did a fabulous job (see review Garage moto Denis garage in the North West of Lomé).

This place has a hose with threads to fill most campers. The will laugh as he opens the tap all the way and blows the hose off of your fill port. The deaf kid will be really careful and help you out very well!
