Faucet directly on the park's main street. Good water pressure. Suitable for filling water tanks in vehicles.

Nice clean gated hotel. Bike was safe and the room was clean. Bathroom had cold shower and normal toilet (without seat) and running water. Very friendly people and cold beers were nice. Food was cold but tasted good, chicken was tough though. Electricity all evening and night. Not during the day. Room had Fan.

Excellent place to stay in uyuni, clean rooms, good hot shower, fast WiFi and a handy area for washing clothes. The family who run the place were extremely kind, especially the father who is also into cycling, they stored ours bikes in a locked room for us after we had to rush off to la Paz to replace a cracked rim on one of them.

We did notice price of shared may have gone up from 40 to 50 pp but I still think this is the best value you will find in Uyuni!

Posto molto tranquillo sotto strada. In un rimessaggio di barche, sulla riva del Casamance. Abbiamo chiesto a dei pescatori se potevamo stare e ci hanno detto di sì che non c’era nessun problema. Silenzioso e tranquillissimo

We came to Didier's workshop because we had a steering problem that was difficult to solve. Not only have we solved it but he has also taught us mechanics (we are ignorant). We have also been able to camp for free with access to a bathroom and shower. But what we value most is his honesty. It is our absolute top in Africa.

best place to camp for big overlander. very nice sunset.

best spot with best view 36.19776, 29.86242

I paid 40.000 for one person. It’s weird that you can’t see on the entrance that it is a hotel. It feels like they rarely have guests. I was the only one there, it took them very long to find the right WiFi password.

It’s a nice room. My bicycle could stay in a safe area. The people are nice and kind. They offered me a free coffee and a little snack in the morning.

You can’t just leave and come back. They don’t give you a key of the front door. If you leave the hotel to into town, talk to the people that work there or ask for a phone number. Otherwise it might take a long time before someone opens the door.

No need for an alarm clock on Sunday morning. The church will wake you up at 6 a clock with out of tune singing. ¡Hallelujah!

The parking lot guys try to rip foreigners off. They wanted 150000 Tom. At the end they got 50000 Tom/about 1,10€. Do not pay more! Iranians pay 5000 Tom!

65000pesos/pp for weekend that is not holiday. plenty of people around but incredibly beautiful. open until 11pm and there's people going in and out all day. After 7pm the moon gracefully rises just above the waterfall. can be quite relaxing on the weekend despite the crowd, but should be amazing on a weekday (mon-thu, and Fri morning). Food is apparently awful but the limonada natural for 5500 is AMAZING,especially after or during a session in one of the four warm pools (30-35 degrees)

Good place to stop on the way from or to the border. The owner is very friendly, he gave us a lot of advice on our route and prepared us a Milanesa for dinner. We paid 9000 pesos for 2 people and 4400 for dinner (2200 per person). Enough space to park.

Careful with this spot!!! On the way to the place we got stopper by s car from "National Forest", They informed us, that this is restricted area and that they should put us to jail. After argueing they let us drive back to "freedom". On the obvious way to the spot (Google maps) we obviously drove over a fallen down fence and where illegal. I doubt that there is any legal way to reach this spot, probably the spot is also in restricted area (=jail).
Finally we camped an the roadside close to a desert camp.

This parking lot is guarded during the day. From here walk to the Hegmataneh ruins, via the pedestrian passage to the bazaar, to the tomb of Esther & Mordechai and to the central square. We were able to stay here in our vehicle for one night.

Went, looked and left :-)
Didn’t like it .. not much shade, camping next to the damn. Very exposed to everyone -
Quite a few permanent camps/campers - along the edge of the property, that been all there for their weekend.
Fishermen’s paradise.

Website says 400 rand for 1-2 people.

Found a lovely campsite across the river, Bulshoekdam Accomodation with private ablutions for 150 pppn.

After almost getting arrested on the way to "sandy area" we decided to stay nearby at the roadside close to one of these desert camps. People where friendly and said it's ok to camp here.

We spent 3 nights here, quiet and safe place. It is in the parking lot of La Punta beach. It is ideal to leave the Camper and go to the Cienaga. Eduardo is on site, he rents umbrellas and chairs on the beach, he is very friendly and helpful, his WhatsApp is +58 4128741265. He can have a look at the vehicles. There are no facilities. It's very quiet on the weekends
