This is the Port office where you can talk to the chef du Port and he can tell you when the next boat to Brazzaville or Bangui is. the big boat only comes once every month or 2 so more likely you will have to get on a smaller boat. the smaller boats leave 1-2 times per week. to go to Brazzaville takes 4-7 days depending on river conditions and costs 15,000xaf. it's not possible with vehicles but you're able to take your bicycle on the boat.

As explained by the previous writers, simple process. show passport, 2 thumb prints on a document. 5Sol for the sim card and 15 for max data. It took less than 10 min.

S 21.53727, E 35.20552 and drive on the beach next to 10 to 15 meter high Red dunes, past fisherman operating with their nets and their colourfull crafted handmade boats. Beautiful, total distance was 38km. Enjoy a lunch at Tress Sereias.

If you change money here, they will only accept 50$ or 100$ notes.

Elvis, owner is super friendly and welcoming. We advised him by whatsapp that we arrived at 6:30pm. He answered very quickly. Very easy to find. Accès is ok for big rig but some branches but you can cut it. Night was very quiet and very secure. Perfect before or after birder even if is dark. Toilets and shower are not clean. Paid 20 soles for 4 by donation.

Pull-out on a side road in the forest. Quiet, only few cars passed during the night. There is room for around 2-4 VR.

Parking area, there are all kinds of vehicles. No services, only loading or discharging water.

Small Sheppard hut. I have been told that it fine to sleep here and it was no problem. There are some cars in the evening and in the morning. Also there are many animals.

Big resort with hotel, restaurant, pools. The camping place is opened even if it is off season. Showers and restrooms dirty and partly out of order. We arrived at night with no reservation, door was opened. We parked on a campsite and went to pay in the morning. Staff friendly. Tryed to make us pay 740$ for a night, obviously scam regarding the place. Negotiated 340$ with is still too much.

We've pulled in a 30' trailer. According to others in the area, the hurricane has washed out a lot of sand. We did manage to get bogged down when we veered onto some wet sand, otherwise its a great place with plenty of room now (I understand it was tighter to part before the hurricane)
It's tucked between some holiday houses so not totally remote but fantastic surf spot right in front of you.

Nice spot, we spent 1 night here, very calm and beautiful view over the lake and the moutains. Great Entel 4G signal. Not hidden, gravel road near by with traffic until 10 pm then very quiet night. We asked a local if we could say here, he said no problem, but be aware, the place will be turned into a parking lot in the weeks to come, so the spot might not be available then.

Arrived at 6:30 PM only a few locals headed out to the beach for sunset. Very quiet after 1030 no problems at all throughout the night just some coyotes howling in the background.
But, at 9 o’clock this morning two sheriffs officers drove by stating that the property that everybody likes to stay on, is actually private property. Where you can be there for the day but you cannot camp. They did not issue a warning or a citation just passed all the information but there was another guy that had been there for two weeks. They told him him if he was not gone by noon that they would come back with a tow truck and seize his property, arrest him for trespassing and tow it off the land.

we slept here one night, we asked before and they let us stay, very nice gas station, lots of green in the back, clean toilets, cold shower available.

Good hotel, parking at the back. 300dh for a double ensuite. Rooftop room is tidy and there's a good view over the valley. Service is sloppy with the manager keen to get the cash, but more interested in laying g on the sofa playing music loudly than serving guests.

As already said in previous comments. Nice and tranquilo place, fast WiFi, good food and beer. No camping fee in off- season

Nice casino to stay at for the night! We called and asked permission to stay overnight in our camper van and we were told that it was absolutely allowed. No need to check in with Security. Just find a space and park. There were several truck drivers, RVs, and other vans the night we stayed. The lot is not the most level, but we found a good spot. Quiet night, would stay again.

Came here and had an extra leaf spring added to my promaster. My candian rv repair man who has used this business for the previous 10 yrs took me here and arranged everything for me. Could definitely do larger vehicles.

OK for big rigs. As it was written, the gate is closed with a chain and you can enter, only the dog was waiting for us. The owner arrived later. 1000$ pppn

One of the nicest Walmart parking lots. Parked in the far SE corner by the Auto Center. There is also a big lot behind the neighboring stores.

had no issue spending 1 night here, still no signs. our 170 sprinter is pretty much the longest you can fit in the parking spots here

Nice place but there are handwritten signs that parts of the beach is for recreation/humedal use. So be aware where you park. Local waved us friendly but we only spent the day as on this coast side was a lot of wind this day

Not so nice, but if you continue the street to the water front there are some places for especially for tents or smaller cars. But a lot of movement during day’n night of the mussel workers
