Very friendly host, she speaks English very well and is helpful. phone number is on the gate - she's not there all the time, just call. Delicious breakfast with hard boiled eggs and pancakes, plenty of all. Facilities are a bit shabby, very simple, below average. Sleeping inside is 600 SOM, breakfast 300, sleeping in car 300. Yard fits four cars (even bigger ones).

Very beautiful Sudanese architecture mosque. We were able to visit the interior and even the roof. There were only some very kind girls who allowed us entry. We don't pay anything

We absolutely loved this place! So well maintained by the friendly owner Miguel Angel. It was Viva Mexico Independence Day and off season, we were the only campers there. The plaza was steps away from the campground so we walked around, went in the the Mission but their little museum was closed as was most businesses for the holiday.
Spotless bathrooms & showers.

Nice place, well maintained sites. Some with picnic tables; most with fire pits. Train is pretty frequent and quite close by. Rails it’s horn as it passes.
Spots remained nearly all taken for three to four days.
About five minutes from Lava Hot Springs. Lovely place overall, would definitely stay here again. 2-3 bars of both Verizon and AT&T. More than enough for remote work.

This place is absolutely stunning! I have yet to see views like this yet in my past 5,2000 of my road trip.

Enough room for one rig no bigger that 25’ on semi level ground. You can also fit a small tent or a few chairs and a table and take in the amazing views.

DO NOT BRING A TRAILER UP HERE!!!

There is no location to make a turn around unless every vehicle up at the trail head parking lot moves.

But don’t tell anyone else… shhhh!

very nice owner. If you come with a dog, be careful, some huskies are not friendly to strange dogs. Ours was immediately tried to bite, so it was very difficult to move around the property with a dog. Pool is ok, there are no guests after 6 p.m. We couldn't test the restaurant because it was closed from 5 p.m.

A bit rocky and narrow to get to the campsites. Owner of the place was not present : we were asked 8500 kw pppn. Nice staff. Ablutions a bit dusty but ok. Electricity works and watertap by the campsite. Best place is under the baobab tree. We hoped to buy the fresh bread mentioned in the other comments, but was not available. All in all good for 1 night before or after the border.

This place is super for campers !! The best ablutions, free drinking water, a nice little shelter with table and place to do dishes by each campsite. Run by a supernice couple. Everything as described in previous comments. Supervalue for 7000 kw pppn. And Este makes very tasty crēpes (real pancakes) on order. We fully recommend this place !!!

This is a spot on Spencer Road, it is right before a small bridge that goes over a nice stream. You get the nice sound of water over rocks all night long and there is a fire ring made out of stone. I was able to pick up sticks from the woods, but sometimes people leave a stack of wood here to make a fire with anyway. Not big enough for large RVs and anyone with a truck camper. That is tall will probably scrape some trees on the way in, but only small branches. Plenty of room to turn around in. You could easily fit 10 vehicles back here. It’s not super level so finding a spot to sleep in was a little challenging, but a great spot to camp out anyway!

This is absolutely perfect for someone with a 4x4 and a little ground clearance! There’s this amazing view and a huge platform to park in!! Nice and level and out of the mud! I’ll totally be returning here!! I camped here over the weekend, didn’t see a soul!

Stopped in to tent for a night on a cross continent trip. Great spot, there was lots of room to tent (SUV hatchback tent). Far enough from the highway to hear very little traffic noise. Very reasonable at $29 / night. Looks like brand new bathroom and shower. Friendly camp host met us and gave us some options where to set up. There is a short gravel road to get to it. Would definitely recommend.
