Very nice rest stop. No trucks allowed, so it is less busy and quieter than other rest areas. We did check out the road that leads further back, but the loose gravel entrance and potential overnight rain made us think twice. Generally a quiet night. No street lights which is also very nice, we could see the stars last night.
Good Google Fi service, streamable.

Good information on the way to Kluane from Alaska. Free potable water on the side of the building, just ask inside. The lady inside told me that we could still use the dump station of the closed RV Park across the street for free, the owners told them it was ok. This might change in the future, again just ask!

this rest stop has free wifi with no password. the westbound rest stop also has it. otherwise no overnight parking.

Easy place to spend the night. A bit of highway noise but quiets down later.

Parked up before and got 60L local price with bidón. Asked for carnet, told him I didn’t have one and he just did it anyway. Tipped to encouraged this!

Nice, clean location with easy access and friendly staff. Propane at $2.99/gallon in 9/23.

The campsite is walk in only and requires a reservation booked online with BC Parks.

This is used mainly for people that come paddling through the river, but the spot is super secluded, has a fire ring, and a nicely packed dirt road to get to it.

You’ll pass more spots while driving in… but just wait til you reach the water. What a great find.

you can camp there for 30.000 for two people or get a room for two for 50.000.acomodation is basic but it is enough to sleep and have a shower.

nous avons passé la nuit ici, sans souci, protègé du vent par la dune, la nuit nous avons entendu les baleines, et le matin un magnifique spectacle. route pratiquable tout vehicule, drone interdit sur toute la plage.

You must go to the third level to the Office of Citizens' Assistance and Federal Police. After they capture your data, you must pay (cash or debit card only, no credit cards) at one of the points within the same shopping center and return to the office. The process took less than an hour in total, fast and efficient. The officials are friendly and willing to help...

Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Debes ir al tercer nivel a la Oficina de Atención a los Ciudadanos y Policía Federal.
Después de que capturan tus datos, debes pagar (solo efectivo o tarjeta de Débito, no TC) en uno de los puntos dentro del mismo centro comercial y regresar a la oficina, el proceso tardó menos de una hora en total, rápido y eficiente. Los funcionarios son amables y están dispuestos a ayudar...

El horario de atención es de 8 a 16:30 hrs.

I enclosed a picture showing where possible RVs could park? They also have a front Business entry with plenty of parking.

$4 small machines $7 medium.

machines worked good, clothes came out clean and dry. I did not notice any broken machines.

cafe has been closed the day before labor day, but the shower and launder facilities are still open. No change machine and nobody is here, so make sure you bring exact change if coming here this late in the season. 2 showers are available now and working. So I guess you can take shower here early in September, but perhaps not late September, not sure exactly when they will close everything entirely, nobody is around to ask

road on construction, it's really hard to pass if you dont have a 4x4.we couldn't continue further where stuck in the mud with our sedan. could be possible in really dry whether. we don't know how good is the rest of the road

The road from Bafang to Bafoussam and then to Foumbot is very potholed, takes forever (many hours).

INSTEAD, in Bafang, take a right at the round about (1st exit) and head towards Bangangte, and when in Bangangte, then head north-east towards Foumbat where you meet up with the road again. The road is new pavement, less than a year old, and only has like 3 police stops that were easy, and has a beautiful view. Well worth going this route instead of the other road.

If your coming from Foumbat, reverse this to get to Bafang.

This was a nice quiet spot. No one here on a Tuesday. Plenty of sun for solar users. There was some trash we picked up but we have seen worse. Great spot while heading south and not a lot of National Forest in this part of the country.

We had no issues and the road is PAVED with new pavement (< 1 year old). Beautiful drive.
