This place was great. The showers aren't free, but it's cheaper if you share, and lots of hot water and towels.

Beautiful rest area. I didn’t overnight here, but it looks like it’s allowed. The part I’m listing it for is the two giant dog runs. Traveling with an animal can be hard at times but these gates are very tall. And there are two of them. My dog loved it, she got to be off lead and run around for awhile before doing her business. As always please be a good dog parent and pick up after yourself (we already know this) happy travels everyone!

Large Supermarket well sorted - even with housewares.

Free Water near air fill. Will be very difficult for any drivable rig greater than 26 ft long. Very very difficult for trailers of any kind. As others have said, have to open and close handle 5-6 times to get the water to flow. Fill speed is fair, not horrible.

Southbound rest stop is a fairly slim lot and is limited on large spaces. Didn’t feel right about taking up a space meant for big rigs. There are a fairly good amount of spaces for B class vans. Not much space so you will hear traffic coming and going in close proximity to your rig.

Very nice place for tenting. Sites 1-14 for tents only with picnic tables and some trees on grass. Beside these sites, there is so much space…
Pit toilets nearby and wc and warm showers in the washrooms.

We stayed here for one night. Franz (the Austrian host) was really nice and told us a lot about the country, the wildlife and hunting.
The food is absolute amazing and prices are more than fair.
And just after our dinner a few Zebras and elands stopped by at the waterhole.

Gorgeous. Free. Right on the River. Vault toilet that was clean. Could hear the highway and some trains occasionally but the scenery makes up for it.

There is a blockade on this pull-off. If you are interested in tent camping you can go past it and fine a great spot with a fireplace.
