Great campsite, the camp spots are just perfect; flat, some protection from the wind. Toilet/shower facilities fantastic; brand new, heated, and super clean. Safe, quiet at night, no other vehicles or traffic noise.
Only comment is towards other campers; when we arrived everything was tidy, the same evening the toilet buildings were already a mess with muddy floors and hair everywhere (even though only 2 other cars were there). Be respectful and grateful for such a great maintained place which is FREE of all, and clean after yourselves!

Still being possible to camp here. It was just me and one tent and the lady was agree to let me pass one nigth. Many places to camp and tables with rustic chairs. Water close.

Huge area free camp. Designated camping and free. Well signed from the main road. Feel free to leave a donation. No amenities, only one pit toilet (green shed). Easy access for all rigs. Very quiet. Open spots and shade.

chilly night with just enough room to set up a tent without snow underneath it, althought it was quite muddy. road in has some patches of snow and mud, easy to get through with 4wd and high clearance. youd be fine in the dry season without either of those.

big flat ground but the trees are surrounding it - so there is no shade on the space where one can park (small tents might find a spot under the trees). we didn't slept here but the view was great.

There are four small places for camper. More like a parking lot then a campsite. Price is 5000 clp per person (not per vehicle). Okay place for a night, 30min from airport. Toilet and hot shower available.

Great place for relax. There are toilets and showers very clean, bbq area, tables and chairs, palapas, kayaks, volley beach field and good shadows where camp and stay during the sunny hours. for 100 pesos night in your tent.

The little cove in front of the brick building is perfect. Hidden and quiet.

Absolutely the best private campground experience we’ve had on our South American overland trip and the hosts, Carlos and Nicole are what make it that way. They have anticipated your every need and they keep the campground and everything in it working perfectly and sparkling clean. They have an in-depth knowledge of the area, including Torres Del Paine National Park where Carlos is a guide, and they are anxious to help by sharing their information. VERY well located, you can walk to everything. Yellow Plum is our go-to place in Puerto Natales!

Fica ao lado da Pousada Chico Anjo, para visitar Ouro Preto é uma ótima opção, pois é sossegado, seguro e conta com facilidades de acesso a pé, ônibus, Uber ou taxi da região.

Overall good facilities with flush toilets, hot showers, Trails and some sites have view of Potomac River around $50 for electric, Full hookups a bit more.

good clean cracker barrel with a large quiet lot. walmart is also across the highway

Great place for a night. A bit close to highway but noise was not too bad. Pit toilet was clean so for a free site, it was great.

Surprised this one isn't on here already. It's around 10pm and I just pulled in to like 10 other vans/RVs that are clearly staying the night. Typical CB, small-ish parking lot with white noise from the highway in the background. WiFi from La Quinta next door. I've been struggling to find a good spot around Phoenix and am ready to crash!

was open at 1:30pm. bread is average but they also have good pastries!

Small picnic rest area on US 380, just east of junction with Rte 208. Very rural and very limited traffic, especially at night. Nice peaceful night.
Be careful with pets as there are a lot of prickly things (?devils thorns) in the grass. Verizon LTE full bars.

Parked just a little further up the road from this spot where it seemed a little wider. Great view. Some traffic on the road but it was only for a night. Good place to stage for the cave.

Park there for the night at the middle field. we found a flat Space but it was difficult. we washed ourself in the beautiful river down ! 2 people sleeping in tents near the river.

Walmart with lots of other rvs and vans, pretty quiet night. Signs say no overnight parking but does not seem like anyone cases and no one bothered us. Groceries are handy.

Hot springs as described. We parked at Cosme beach and took paddle boards around the point to the pool. Nice soak at low tide.

Since we entered África through Morocco until we arrive here in Angola, this is the only real campsite truly built thinking about Overlanders and their basic needs, here we have everything we need at low prices for Angola reality.
It is in fact not only the best campsite in Angola, but also the best campsite in all West Africa that we have seen so far.
